  1. LOLintegrity in a university function as valuable as college football.. big-money-making is a crooked business regardless of industry. When millions are at stake for an organization, rules are bent and broken. For every NCAA infraction/illegal company action that's punished, 10 go unnoticed. Nothing new here. Feel like USF lacks the necessary cunning to leverage an advantage though. Amirite?
  2. anyone have a stream they'd like to pass on, PM please. firstrowsports is a dud.
  3. ^ this dude.. my (public) highschool in NJ won states in the largest division all 4 years I was there. lax was king..
  4. what intern toyed in MS Paint for 10min to whip those up.. another cringe worthy moment added to USF Athletics' long and arduous list of shortcomings. the design.. the models.. this university strikes me as embarrassingly clueless all too frequently.
  5. I'm in full support of a facility bearing Smazza's namesake. That would bring me infinite lulz. Open up your pockets for the sake of comedy!
  6. if you were wondering whether my face is featured in the front row of the crowd shot, your answer is yes. yes it is. that whole crowd montage was compiled from my first game as a freshman: UT Chat [?] fall 08
  7. looking abysmal since I tuned in at 8min in the 1st.. surprised Stan didn't call a TO earlier.
  8. don't think a W is likely without our main man out there getting reckless with the rock..
  9. if you go to the "Recruits" tab, every sub category link is broken. WOOPS..
  10. wristband situation for admittance into lower student section is absolute trash. atmosphere suffers because of drone ushers who will not make/are incapable of making dynamic decisions regulating a flow of new bodies in as seats that might have been filled are no longer,i.e., Ray Jay's TSA incompetents (100's section). I don't know how that issue was never addressed for football and it's frustrating and embarrassing to see the new Sun Dome hindered by the same idiocy. a fresh start should not carry over poor methods of past. also, there should be word plates bolted on the back of each seat in the lower sec that say "Stand Up" with the iconic U--though USF higher-ups could never conceive something so creatively simple.. a quarter of the lower section seated (and all of the 200's), no boom in defensive volume until the last 5min, children in student crowd, wearing anything but green.. is it that these kids just haven't watched enough college ball on TV to know what a basketball game is supposed to look like?
  11. this thread delivers bulls football gives the shivers have swollen liver
  12. Woolard out, smazza in. Success will come through an iron fisted rule of blind irrationality and unrelenting cynicism.. its a new dawn at the new U, people.
  13. I firmly agree that the only way this game will be fun for "us" as USF fans will be to take it on while blacked out. My choice is whisky straight and powerful IPA's
  14. Delbert Alvarado and Mike Ford? http://bit.ly/7LDw7 ...oh wait, this isn't the debate of the greatest rappers in USF football history? hilarious.. can't believe alvarado is in the NFL now.. clown was the butt of half the jokes in the student section. ford (on the other hand) was AT the butt of half the bleezies smoked post leaving the student section.. what a guy!
  15. I'm a huge proponent of the flamingo--most legitimate tradition we have going at this point. (would be hard to refute this) From a non-native Floridian perspective, the symbolism of the flamingo projects lots of cultural sentiments that I (and others, as it's pretty obvious) associate with "old school" South Florida (the region, not the school). If anything I think the "War" should be dropped from reference, as the tradition will be able to prosper with less hang-ups (more fluidly) with this being the case.
  16. well obviously (hypothetically) they would have taken those textures and design principals and modernized them into something that is appealing. so yes, I would have liked to see the red brick used in both the engineering dept and the newer ROTC building.
