  1. They out recruit a lot of people... Their class was ranked 29th in the nation this year. 10 spots lower than FSU and 11 spots better than UCF. Also directly behind some of the best programs in the country Arkansas, Rice and Ga Tech. If their "receiving votes" type section is in ranking of best class then we brought in the 47th "best" class this year. I agree Prado has sucked but Stetson is a very good baseball program. I can tell you some reasons why they out recruit us...their players actually make it to the NCAA tourney and they get to play for Pete Dunn. Here are the rankings http://www.baseballnews.com/recruiting/current_recruiting_results.htm Can we hire Pete Dunn to be our next coach ? That man will never leave Stetson. He played there and has been the manager for 33 years...

  3. The only way we host Tulsa is if the facilities at Tulsa are deemed inadequate (snowball's chance) or some act of God occurs preventing them from hosting. So baring some incredible upsets in the later rounds, we will be on the road after Thursday night all the way to Hoover for the college cup. They already said we are hosting Tulsa On Sunday at 6pm if we beat FGCU... Let's get past FGCU first.
  4. I will try to, but I may not be able to watch/attend every game. We have an apathetic student body. You compare the two athletic programs and their marketing, you'll see why. They are breeding a culture of loyalty, pride and tradition over there, we are not sadly. That is the one thing I can not stand about this university. The students filled up our section, plus a decent chunk of the 3rd level as overflow, but sat on their asses the entire game. I swear, the people around me seemed absolutely shocked at how UCF fans were acting, especially when they started the "blackkk...gollldd" chant. That's kiddy stuff...show them the Cameron crazies and they won't be able to focus on the game. I grew up going to games at UCF and saw the evolution of Kirks Jerks into "THe Knightmare" in the past few years or so and can do nothing but shake my head at our situation. For people that say its because our team hasn't given us anything to cheer for...go look at ucfs basketball the last few years. Yeah, theyve been a solid team but haven't been near the NCAA tourney recently. Plus they've been in freaking conference usa, while we've been fortunate enough to see some of the best programs in the history of college basketball roll through our doors and play in our crummy old gym in front of 3,000 people. UCF was drawing maybe a 1,000 people a game playing in a warehouse against the ASUN just a decade ago for crying out loud! We drew 7,717 for the opener of our new arena against a rival...UCF draws that for your run of the mill Cusa game. Where the hell were the alumni tonight??? So let's see... Worse than them at basketball, baseball, and probably football......fan-frickin-tastic. Oh yeah, and they haven't had the opportunity to recruit with the big east tag yet. Glad we got that "head start". People on this board have been blind to what has been going on over there the past couple years and tonight was a huge wake up call to our fan base. Speaking of conferences, tonight made me thankful I'm graduating this year and won't be here to witness the future of the Big Mountain USA Conference on a consistent basis. Go Bulls....or something like that.
  5. Can you still go if you didn't request? I have some friends that want to go.
  6. They're just setting this fan base up for failure, jeez.
  7. It's a University library, not a billboard. Compare it to other universities in the state and it looks cheap.
  8. You really think alumni will be out in full force? did I say that? You made it seem as though the noon start time will only impact students and that it'd be our fault the crowd was pathetic. The fact we suck balls will have a larger impact.
  9. You really think alumni will be out in full force?
  10. Where's the tailgate at? What area of the parking lot? My buddy is an alum (now at temple podiatry school) and I'm not graduating until May so I don't fit the Alumni title just yet. We will at least try and come by the tailgate just to say hi to Bulls Fans. My dads originally from Lancaster area, so I've been to Philly a lot, but this should be a great trip. I've been in Citizens Bank Park and the Arena, but this will be my first time at the Linc. Plus my friend lives in Center City because that's where the Podiatry school is (he never has to set foot on their **** campus) and I think well be hitting up an Octoberfest block party afterwards. Should be a hell of a trip.
  11. Amazing we've managed to have any level of success with the morons surrounding athletics. So second rate, it's really Dumbfounding.
  12. My dad was able to sell his one extra ticket to a Bulls fan for $100. He was pretty happy with that scenario.
  13. What is the problem here? They don't actually give a **** about the football program, probably will leave by half time or not make it into the stadium, and will likely not be at another home game all year. These aren't casual fans. They're people that are so oblivious to usf football that casual isn't even on their radar. And no, this weekend will not change their emotions toward the team after we get bent over Jimbo Fishers lap for our spanking. If we were winning and they were bandwagoners I wouldn't care.
  14. USF students are treating it as a giant party. I've missed one usf football home game in my 4 seasons I've been a student for (wednesday night vs Rutgirls due to a chemistry test) and I have kids texting me, who haven't been to a game this year, and asking me if I'm going and to stop by their tailgate. FACEPALMFACEPALMFACEPALMFACEPALM
  15. I can't wait. I was thinking about it last night, just 2 weeks til I (and bull nation) make the trek up there! I didn't order tickets through USF (yes, shame on me) but my friend who I'm staying with is a Temple Med student now and will get in free and I'll just buy the cheapest seat and walk around. They only draw about 20,000 a game so it won't be an issue.
  16. I have 2 friends who are Arkansas fans. I want RUTGERS to shut them down, bad!!!!
  17. My buddy from UCF is gonna be here for the weekend. Can't wait to show him a real environment!
  18. Not paint...a nice vinyl banner. It looks tacky, simply put.
  19. I would think UNR games would be THE event....no pro team, no other major in state competition (unlv doesn't do much in football), so I'm shocked they get such small crowds.
  20. You guys are picked to finish #2 in your conference (a conference that is probably just as good as the Big East currently), yet you act like you guys are some fledgling team trying to find a direction. We aren't exactly hot **** down here in Tampa. This would not be an upset for Nevada and I think many of our fans aren't taking this lightly at all. yes, many USF fans are pessimistic about our team, but that's because most of us have the opinion of "we'll believe it when we see it".
  21. Not even close. Not close at all. My parents have 4 season tickets but only 2 were used last night. Many others with a similar situation.
  22. That park outside of the library is amazing. Today was my first time going by it and I must say, the pics don't do it justice.
