I have to say ND because that could be the best football experience I ever have at the rate things are going in College FB as a whole. At that time, I still had a lot of excitement for the direction that things could go for USF. That was the last time I was really "excited" but I am as cautiously optimistic as possible for this new coaching staff (they seem to say all the right things). On South Bend, the whole weekend was great checking out the parades and such in South Bend the night before, the College FB hall of fame, touring the campus, and celebrating outside the campus after the win... Also, there's something to be said about sitting on the ground during the rain delays and guessing at what could happen when they played again. I get to go back to South Bend to pick up a friend for the Michigan State game. I'm curious if anyone will recognize the USF logo this time around

We deserve to be trashed based on recent years.

I don't know but that UF game was awesome to watch. I would prefer all the pressure and hype to go to UL until we actually do something worth noting.

Seriously though, I'll miss those home games against them. There was a nice tension in the air and it was always a big game.

ND was my last road trip as well. I'm going to this one hoping that the defense has improved (it has to be?) and we can grind out some yards on the ground and not fumble snaps. I really thought we had a puncher's chance against ND on the way up, but now I'm not feeling as comfortable about that prediction. If I see us getting torched in the 4th and people throwing their hands up confused on defense like last year, part of me will want to get a jump on the Upper Peninsula.

2023 ... SEC The tailgating and road trips would be fierce.

I wonder what this would do for the rest of the schools that are left out. Could we start building our own league, brand, TV deals, without these schools hanging over our heads? There are plenty of sports networks popping up that need content. I know that I will drastically reduce watching any division that we are not a part of. I'm already feeling pretty bitter towards the whole ESPN machine over the Big East situation and losing interest in college sports after the conference realignment money grabs... Anyway, just thinking out loud. College FB is getting kind of ridiculous.

I am inspired now! Already planning out the nature hikes after the Michigan State game... I'm very excited for that trip and hoping for another ND-like experience. That said, I have no idea who is in our conference (going with the ostrich approach). Last time I checked we were looking at adding Tulane or something. I'll take 2 American patches because I'm proud to be The American.

I love everything that CWT does. That said, I also loved Skip Holtz until some time after the Notre Dame game (I can't remember much after that game). What year is this and what conference are we in?

The commish says common sense and fairness will prevail in the Division 4 debate. Oh yeah?

At first, I wasn't sure what "The American Patch" was until I saw it. I forgot that it is our conference.

I was going to vote for someone else or other, but the option is not there.

I am not sure how we lived without Twitter before. It keeps the speculation cycle nice and active. Hopefully this guy doesn't end up going to UCLA!

I am not believing in the sleeper hype yet this time around. Willie Davis seemed to have some pop in the spring game but I am not sure we have someone to successfully take it from the center and give it to him. Wildcat maybe? Can Davis or Shaw fake the world out and throw it out of the wildcat to Andre Davis? I'm still making the trip up to Sparty Town for a college game environment!

Wow this would be awesome if he can hold down a spot on that team. It seems like the right team to go to.
