    They did raise that much over a bunch of years including every department, including athletics. We were at the kick off event for the Unstoppable campaign and I'm guessing it was 6 or 7 years ago. Someone on here should know for sure.

    So the bar stools are sturdy as they held my fat butt. And here is the umbrella. And a technical question. Looks like I'm limited as to size of files. Is there any way to remove that photo from 5 or 6 posts ago so that I can post a smaller file?

    That is an excellent question. They seem solid but I actually haven't sat on one yet. Got the umbrella together this morning and will try to get a pic of the whole thing tomorrow.

    Believe it was at 12,501 to make us the highest in the BE by 1. Could be mistaken.

    Took awhile but it has arrived. Came in 3 shipments; stools first, wrap, umbrella material and stool covers in the second and finally yesterday the bar and umbrella frames. Put it together this morning. Don't see this being a tailgate bar. If we lived in cooler weather, possibly. Sweated our butts off at 9:15 doing it so can't imagine at noon for a tailgate. Will probably stay where it is. Pretty nice concept and am happy with it.

    People we met from other teams this past year at the baseball facility were very impressed. I think it will age well. The baseball/softball facility that was supposed to be built out in the area between the two fields may not get built. Had mentioned this a year or so ago. The guy that was to be the primary donor had a grandson on the team, a SS. He left before this last season began so I wondered if the money would also leave. We didn't see the guy at any games this year. He had 6 seats right in front of us. But if they can find a way to build that facility that would be a new facility to impress recruits. The stadium itself will be fine for, my guess, 15 - 20 years.

    Pretty sure the soccer and baseball/softball stadiums have some miles left on the tires. Baseball opened in 2011 so only 7 years young.

    I'm really late to this conversation but I will just make a couple of points. It does seem to be the competition that is the biggest problem. We're winning games and people aren't showing up. As for the OCS increasing attendance I'll point to SMU. They have a great setup around their stadium. Tons of tents and parties and lots and lots of people. And then, when the game starts, they are still outside partying and the stadium is a ghost town. Maybe if they were playing, and I come back to it, better competition they'd go inside. But look to Oct/Nov for something that could influence the building of an OCS.

    Let's wait until Oct/Nov re: any updates on an OCS. The indoor facility hopefully will actually happen in the next 2 years.

    Don't think so. Believe the umpire was Joyce and the pitcher was Galarraga.

    And his brother is a center for FIU. They started a couple of games together last year including the bowl game in St. Pete.

    Better than UCF carrying Orlando in comparison to USF in Tampa? Or UCF carrying Tampa compared to USF? Obviously the 2nd one isn't realistic.
