    Gosh.. kind of struggling here. If you were given the option of a successful OC at a lower level or promoting King, a number of you guys want to take the risk on promoting King?? Big time King fan, but I have no evidence that tells me he is ready for our OC gig.

    Yeah, just to clear the air, BB running that many times a game is insanity.. dude is such a huge target. He should have about 3 designed runs a game and maybe a couple scrambles. Literally hold my breath every time he keeps it on the option.

    The tone of the article made me think we had lost by 17. It’s basketball, there are going to be runs and lead changes. I’ll say this... the last few bulls teams win this game by about 5; nice to have solid coaching and talent again.

    If Ford gets 30 carries a game, he may end up dead... Ford is great, but don’t put him in the same sentence as Mack.

    UCF winning 20 in a row and beating Auburn last year means jack. Their D has taken a significant step back. Same thing w us winning 10 last year.. impressive, but just about all of those playmakers are gone.

    Beating half the teams in the conference don’t move the needle. Finishing better than about 20 is going to be the equivalent of popping off about an 11-1 season each year.

    Honest question.. if top20-35 is settling, what are your expectations?

    The ceiling for this team was about 9-3 to start the season and that’s probably right around where we end up. Houston is by far a better team and prob ends up winning the conference. The amount of talent we lost last year is staggering, almost as staggering as the number of freshman getting significant playing. We were missing out best linebacker at a position of zero depth, missing our best WR, rolling with how many Freshman on the o-line? The overreaction is losing to a superior team is jussst a bit much from some on this board.

    Bush league idea responded to with bush league threats. It’s a double negative, so it kinda cancels itself out.

    I disagree.. if Houston had run it a few years back after taking out UO and ‘Ville(?), they were in.

    Quick side note, we did cut block vs UCONN (and it worked pretty well). And if Oliver does play, I would cut block him again.
