    The FAU Owls are doing very well. We will have our hands full when we play them February 18. At least we play them at home. FAU had a very raucous crowd for their home game last night when they beat Liberty. Their coach, Dusty May, has done an exceptional job!

    I think Tobin Anderson would be a terrific candidate. He took last year's 4-22 team to last night's thrilling upset of Purdue. Turned that program around in the blink of an eye. I would think he will be on the radar of quite a few other programs looking for a new head coach.

    I think hiring the Kennesaw State Basketball coach, Amir Abdur-Rahim would be a really great hire! I hope Michael Kelly calls him ASAP!

    We are a Florida school. Shouldn't we dominate schools from northern cold winter climates like Northeastern? I assume Mohl was given a contract extension a couple of years ago by Michael Kelly like every South Florida coach. Another example of a terrible decision by our vice president of athletics. Most likely Mohl won;t be fired anytime soon.

    I have not watched any bowl games because our Bulls are not participating. But I am very happy that the Gators were destroyed in their bowl game!

    The Owls have named Tom Herman as their new football coach. That was quick. Willie was just fired Saturday night.

    Whomever Michael Kelly hires as our new coach should be very excited and optimistic for our offense to have Byrum as our quarterback.

    I feel badly for the Bulls alumni and supporters who are in person watching this debacle. What a waste of an afternoon.

    I doubt Jeff Scott will be fired anytime soon. However, if Michael Kelly did have the guts to fire him, I think hiring Scott Frost would be a very good choice to replace Scott. If Frost could resurrect UCF he should be able to do very well with our Footbulls (maybe).

    I just read on footballscoop.com that our former offensive coordinator from years ago, Mike Canales, has accepted the OC job with Bethune-Cookman. Wishing him much success.

    The BaseBulls should not lose to a Ivy League school, especially a school where the university is in Rhode Island covered in snow. We should easily defeat northern schools early in the college baseball season. My opinion anyway.

    I just read on footballscoop.com that our beloved Skip Holtz was announced today as the head coach of the Birmingham Stallions of the rebirth of the USFL. The season starts April 22 of this year. Should be interesting to see how well Skip does leading this team.

    I would love to see hockey become a varsity sport! With the Tampa Bay Lightning's popularity hockey has become a very popular youth sport in the the Tampa Bay area, even more so in southeast Florida.
