  1. Playing in a smaller on campus stadium would also create demand by having so many fewer seats.
  2. Great way to see the gnats lose. Lead the entire game except for the last .01 second, lololol.
  3. At least they weren't purple!! Or uconn blue! http://www.usforacle.com/news/view.php/850785/Green-is-the-new-purple
  4. They only way I'd ever want UCF to win is if was the last game of the season and them winning would give us the division title over their opponent. It's still too early in the season and at this point usf controls it's own destiny. I hope temple crushes them by 50.
  5. Cheap flight into Atlantic city on Friday, and a cheap flight out of Philly on Saturday.
  6. From tailgating to game day action, post your pics here.
  7. Of course I'll be wearing green! Why would anyone wear anything else? Anyone who thinks white is going to make you feel any cooler might want to just stay at home. It s going to be a steam bath, and hot as hell, the color of your shirt is not going to make any difference. Plus white makes you look fatter.
  8. I was there for that game. Such excitement. The Pitt fans were in shock. We came out and punched then right in the jaw from the very beginning of the game, starting it off with an on side kick that we recovered. They never did!! I also remember it being a pretty hot day. We definitely partied it up on that night. I flew home on Sept 10. The next day of course drowned the buzz of excitement.
  9. And yes, we did play OU. I think it was in 2002 or 2003. That was one if the best road trip weekends we have experienced. They have the friendliest fans I have ever met. Game day atmosphere was what you imagine the ideal college game to be. So exciting.
  10. Yes, sdsu and nevada were our two furthest games. Toronto is not very far. Sdsu was a great away game experience even though we got it butts beat. Lots of og fans made the trip to watch our BULLS play it first 1-A opponent. The Nevada game was an exciting come from behind victory. " South Florida scored a game-winning touchdown on a 52-yard B.J. Daniels pass to sophomore wideout Andre Davis with just 38 seconds to go, as the Bulls went ahead to defeat the Nevada Wolf Pack by a score of 32-31."
  11. Trivia.... What was our two furthest away games and who attended? I was there for both. One had an exciting ending. The other was monumental, for another reason.
  12. Who has a recording of the game? Somebody should send a list of blunders to the MAC commissioner with video evidence of each blunder.
  13. The refs were terrible beyond belief. What about the clear off sides penalty on wku that didn't get called? QF thought he had a free play.
  14. Seems like that was the game that ended his career. If so, I hope this team does him a solid.
  15. The wvu home game in 2007 was the best home game in program history. Dint see anything topping that night in a very long time.
  16. I wonder if coach Jim Leavitt will skip there, he has to come backback for a campus made sub!
  17. Wow, how crazy. I actually came across that cup last Sunday and thought the same thing. I stepped on it and threw it in the trash. I thought to myself, "A holtz new era my ass!" as I stomped on it.
  18. I know it will never happen so long as Judy is around, but our program has been in a steep nose dive since CJL was unjustly fired. He is the father of USF football, and we will just continue to have a revolving door of coaches from here on out. Either they will suck like the past two or they will shine and be stolen away to bigger programs. CJL proved he wasn't interested in bigger programs. I think he is the best bet to save the program. Its gonna take someone who will generate a buzz when hired, and I dont think anyone could create a bigger buzz. UL brought back Petrino, and yes that was under much different circumstances, but Petrino came back with baggage and a black eye. CJL is more to this program that just about anyone else. Maybe it would take a grass roots effort, but I surely can't be the only one. I am tired of it, and will not renew my season tickets for year 20 with this continued garbage.
  19. We still get thrilled at the thought there are others like us out here in this god forsaken desert. If someone showed at my door dressed like a Bulls football player I would think it was an elaborate ruse by the IRS. We saw this car in the parking lot of our hotel in anchorage, Alaska in July. What are the chances of two Bulls families in the same hotel 5000 miles from Tampa?? Looks like they were from south Dakota.
  20. I'd also like to further discuss War Flamingo and Tamplona please.
  21. The guy has a decent 1/2 against a crappy Tulsa team thanks mainly to Andre Davis and now Taggart refuses to pull him.
  22. Last I heard from Eric is that there isn't anything official planned as far as a tailgate. But ya' never know. USF Alumni has a Wisconsin Tailgate Party listed on their website, but currently has the details listed as TBA.
