    Say what you want to make yourselves feel better, but I would much rather have had the 1st or 2nd best recruiting class in the be, not the 6th. Also 54th is very weak. I thought cjl had more to sell now that we are in the BE. Maybe he needs to change his recruiting tactics and expand his search area.

    As long as the guy is on the field, preferably on Offense. He has too much talent and is such an athlete, that you want him involved as much as possible.

    First of all, usf has a long way to go before making the big east tourny. Who are they going to beat out, cinci, rutgers, st johns, and ? I seriously doubt 4 teams will be under usf. 3 maybe, not 4. 1 win and all of a sudden, give the guy an extension? Remember the loss to richmond, who is 1-8 in conference play and 7-15 overall. Also tamcc, double ot with stetson. It is about consistancy. Yes, he has beaten top 25 teams, but also losses to worst 25. Lets see him win on the road, because thats what it will take to go to nyc.

    Very good point. If the 13 largest school in the country can't pay a bball coach 300-500K then they can't spend 100 million on a stadium.

    Could you imagine Denny Crum or Bob Huggins making such statements about Death Row? Of course Crum did call for their dismantle, but he never said it was because they were causing a distraction.

    Sounds like Jose isnt happy with the Athletic Dept, and frankly, either I am, but for slightly different reasons, although they are related in the fact that there is too much apathy. Jose is going to jump ship if a sec, big 10 or acc school comes calling. He is getting paid a crumby salary and is proving he can win. The AD needs to step it up, quit ignoring bball. If he's not, it sure appears that way, both mens and womens. This is still a larger attendance then the women have ever seen. In the 90s and early 00s, you were lucky to see 50 fans in attendance.

    crm hard stance on discipline is partly why we dont have many scholarship players and have had such a horrible record the past 4 years. The guy kicked off just about every player or they quit during his first couple years, and he didnt have anyone to replace them (real smart!) Apparently this guy has the personality of a rock, so many players dont want to play for him. Now his suspends one of his best players? And wont say why, just that he didnt like the way jesus approached some things. Real smart. Too bad it didnt bite him in the a$$ and cost him the game.

    I think its great. It shows that fans do care about the state of the program and demands are being noticed. The tribune called out crm last week and the program, saying not enough people care about usf bball, and thats why crm is still employed by usf. If more people were upset by his 2-18 conference record and 30 games under .500 in 4 years, then maybe he would have been canned last year. At least the message is now being heard.

    Huggins would have easily brought in 2000 extra fans, look how many ksu increased by. We would have 7K per game minimum with a guy like Huggins. Its like the chicken and the egg, which came first? We need fans to pay for a good coach, yet get a good coach and fans will come. You have to spend money to make money. Go cheap, you get cheap results. Go big, and you get big results.

    Auburn will make us or break us as far as getting into the top 25 is concerned.

    Give mac another year?? No way. How many years can you keep saying that? Last year, thats all I heard, now you want to give him another? WHY? The board didnt lose its joy and focus, the mens bball program did.

    "But we will still win 4-6 big east games this year. " Unlikely, but even if that happens, it only perpetuates the lack of support. People in this area will only support a winner, not a perrenial loser. Have to spend money to make money. Being cheap, give you the results we are seeing, and the support that we are seeing. 4400 fans for a UL game? Pitiful.

    Exactly what I have been saying all along. Support for this team is at an all time low. People have given up on usf bball and just dont care about it. I was at the game, and it was pathetic. Crowd was docile, and I am just not into it anymore, and I used to be a hard hard bball fanatic. I can imagine how less interested fans feel. They dont even bother going at all anymore.

    He is a lame duck because dw basically gave him another year to show improvement, and so far he isnt, and he knows he will be fired if he doesnt show improvements. The improvement is us avenging last year's lose with a win vs bcc and fiu. Still lost to tamcc again, and had to beat stetson in overtime. Not a stellar improvement so far if you ask me.

    We will drop out of top 25-30 if we lose to auburn and be a top 20-25 team after week 3 if we beat them. Rankings dont change much between week 1 and 3, so beating auburn is crucial in us cracking the top 25 because if we arent already there, not many teams will lose during week 1 or 2 for us to move up.
