  1. Anyone would be better then mac. When is enough enough? Put a fork in the program because it is done! And crm clearly is burning it beyond rescuing. Is Dean Smith available? It is going to take a big time name to bring life back into this program and resurrect even a fraction of support.
  2. I was wondering when a picture of a post win dance would show up on the internet. I am sure whoever took that photo would rather remain anonymous.
  3. 1. ky weslyn 2. wvu 06 3. ul 05 4. pitt 01 5. sdsu 99 6. ul 03 7. ou 02? 8. usm 02 or 03 which ever year we beat them in tampa 9. nc state 10. ecu honorable mention - citadel (first ever road game), illinois state - missed 20 fg at buzzer by isu gives bulls the win, sw tx state(monsoon game in which Blackwell established himself as the starter), tcu double ot in 04, uk - our first tradition riched opponent, ucf game - nice to quiet the gnats.
  4. First time in the stadium it was running out of drinks on a sweltering afternoon, this time headsets go out. Hopefully we never have to return to Legions field.
  5. Doesnt surprise me that something went wrong in that dump of a stadium.
  6. Let the losing begin. 3 losses in a row to some very marginal teams. Great idea to keep crm around instead of going after a coach with a proven track record of winning.
  7. Yeah creighton and southern illinois are decent, but to call them a hell of a conference is a little much. It just proves that if siu and creighton can field decent teams, then so should we.
  8. A 9 pt underdog at home to a missouri valley conf team picked to finish in 4th place. Will there even be 1000 fans in attendance?
  9. USF Collin, what did you think of UNLV's pregame intros? I have been to several unlv games over the past 5 yeas, and they do an awesome job with their pregame, pyrotechnics, lights, music, etc.
  10. The $50,000 trip to Italy is really paying off. Our team is so much closer, and Mac is doing such better things with them as compared to last year. I mean we lost to tamcc by fewer points this year, then last so I guess we are improving.
  11. How many threads? Lets see, 16-18 more losses = 16-18 more threads. OK here is your answer, 16-18.
  12. We are at the exact same point as we were last year at this time, so why not start the complaining. A loss to tamcc on a neutral court. Great turnaround for our hoops program, huge improvement.
  13. Fair enough, either way the season will be a write off.
  14. Exactly, which is why dw should be held directly responsible for this hire. President Genshaft hired DW to be a leader, not a lame duck. He needs to step up and can crm. If he doesn't she should look at finding someone who can make tough decisions like that. If crm was a salesman, and performed the way he has, he would either be fired or dw would be fired for not firing crm.
  15. I have heard from people connected to usf athletics that the guy has a personality of a rock. It's a shame that the ad, who promised when he was hired that he would improve the bball program has let it fall even further into the toilet. Just look at the attendance of the past 4 years and you can see how many people care about usf bball. I am a huge fan of usf, and want more then anything to be able to be competitive in the be, but its clear that is not happening under crm. Many other have come to that realization as well, while others are at the same point I was 3-4 years ago, full of hope, wearing the green and gold goggles, but I have taken them off, and see whats really going on.
  16. NOT!!! We are still losing to the same poor teams from conferences like the Southland and Atlantic 10 and needing two overtimes to beat stetson, an Atlantic Sun Conference Team. We have not improved at all from last year. A big deal was made of us matching last year's win total. Big deal. we got 6 wins last year by this time, we have 7 now. We won 1 game after Dec. 23 last year. So we got all of our wins during Nov/Dec both last year, and so far this year. Let's see how many we win after Dec. 23 this year. Our attendace is going to get worse and worse. The AD should be answering questions as to why he is letting this program go down the toilet. Anyone with half a brain can see this program is not going in the right direction. I wonder if the heat is put on crm again this year, if AD DW will make a mid year support statement of crm? I doubt it.
  17. Bring your own drinks, the last time I was in that stadium in our game vs Bama, the entire stadium ran out of drinks.
  18. A bowl win, ending the season in the top 25, or getting a preseason ranking, along with next years schedule should help us set all time attendance records. Home games vs ul, wvu, ucf and unc.
  19. FYI, we have been to the ncaa twice, both in the 90s. One was for a conference championship, and the other was an at large bid. Sad that the 13th largest university in the country and is in the premier basketball league cant put together enough cash to field a competitive team. I hope once crm is canned at the end of the season that the ad brings in a coach with name power, not some other coach from a decent performing mac, ovc, meac school. Although I am not sure who might be on the market.
  20. Put the program down after 1 loss? Jewbull has supported this program for numerous years, as have I and many others. It is season upon season of the same ole acceptance of mediocrity and poor performance that he is referring to. If you have been a usf fan for long, you would know how pathetic the support is for our bball team, and it isnt because of 1 loss to Richmond. It is the attitude and direction of this program over the past 6-7 years that has led to 1500 fans coming each game. People have given up on supporting this program. The high expectations that were set but never accomplished by Greenberg, followed by the very poor results of the new hire of crm has led many fans like myself to fall to the wayside. I think the AD is in a tough position, he faces a small budget, but at the same time having 1200-1500 actual fans in the seats isnt going to help. A coach with a winning attitude and a big name is needed to resurect this program. If you have been around, you have seen 7000 fans at the dome night after night. We are lucky to get 5,000 vs a top 20 team. The game atmosphere was awesome and was hard to not come to a game. Its not even close anymore.
