  1. FSU will will be 1-2 after their first 3 games.
  2. Is anyone tailgating for this game? We wont get to the stadium until 10:15-10:30, so won't have a whole lot of time.
  3. Awesome, glad to hear it. See you on the flight! Hopefully more decide to do the same!!
  4. I did it back in 2003 to watch us play Alabama in Birmingham. Its fun being a jet setter! Usually try to make a weekend out of it, but Birmingham and Hartford don't warrant much more than the 4 hours spent at the stadium. My other road trip this year will be Tulane.
  5. Just booked my flight for $163 rt. Go up in the morning, come home in the evening. Great option!!
  6. I know this might be better suited in the Travel / Away Game Board, but I just booked a same day flight to and from Hartford on Sept 9 for $163 rt on Jet Blue. Leaves Tampa at 6:30am and departs Hartford at 8:00pm. There are a ton of open seats, so come on road warriors, here is a cheap and easy way to see the Bulls on the road this year.
  7. Will we have higher attendance this time around vs Stony Brook?
  8. The sad thing is we should have him for the following season as well had cwt knew what he was doing. Stupid decision to play qf his freshman year without fully committing to him being the qb.
  9. Any decisions on the team hotel? There is a Fairmont, Marriott, Weston and Hilton downtown SJ. Any plans for a pregame tailgate on Saturday?
  10. I can agree with those names and can also agree with list being non usf people only. Was the politician, JD Alexander or Weatherford? I remember both being against USF Poly.
  11. Have you not been watching the news lately? Judge Margaret Taylor? http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/19302845/judge-margaret-taylor-calls-south-florida-bulls-coach-charlie-strong-player-arrests McMurphy is a hack reporter who at one time worked at the Tampa Tribune and then went on to Bleacher Report and ESPN. He had a personal vendetta with Leavitt after Leavitt refused to give him access. He pushed the story that got Leavitt fired after being accused of hitting player, Joel Miller. Colby Erskin leaked it to McMurphy after Miller confided what happened to Erskin. http://www.tampabay.com/sports/college/usf-bulls-senior-receiver-colby-erskin-tells-investigators-teammate-joel/1063652 McMurphy covered the football program for The Tampa Tribune from the program's start and got on Leavitt's bad side when he wrote a story about two players failing a drug test a few seasons back. The players confirmed it to McMurphy. When he sought to talk about it with Leavitt, Leavitt wouldn't talk, became angry and thus McMurphy was thereafter treated as an enemy of the program.
  12. Some good suggestions to add to the list. I could agree with John McDaid. I was at that game, such a great atmosphere that night, but certainly not the ending. That was a BS call. I was thinking Schiano as well. OK, so hate might be a strong term. But every major school has a list of despised people. Maybe that is better word then hate. Yes, Skip won some big games, all in his first year with Leavitt's talent, but then he drove the program into the ground. Antigua may not deserve to be on the list, but being he drove a program that couldn't have been much lower into further irrelevance I added him. Plus the fact he oversaw a program that is now under NCAA investigation, he was deserving. Woulard did some great things for the program, but with the waterfall of Big East cash pouring in, I wouldnt expect anything else in regards to facility upgrades. He gave Holtz an extenstion after a losing season, then fired him 9 months later, costing the university a couple millions dollars. Plus he was asleep at the wheel during conference realignment. 13. In no particular order... (well maybe) people not well liked (hated) by die hard Bulls fans. Am I missing any and who on this list should be #1? Skip Holz Margaret Taylor Brett McMurphy Joel Miller Doug Wollard Orlando Antigua
  14. I remember it like it was yesterday!! Great pep rally the day before, lots of excitement for our Bulls all over Charlotte. Beautiful sunny, but brisk game day.
  15. Leavitt coached usf when taggart was qb at wku and played against us our first two seasons.
  16. Willie was in over his head here and had it not been for the innate natural abilities of flowers, Mack and Adams being let loose he would have been gone last year. Little coaching is needed with those three. Look at his defense and that will tell you his true head coaching ability. Look at our offense before flowers begged to be let loose and that will tell you his true coaching ability. He'll be looking for a new job in December 2019, mark my words.
  17. He went to lakeside high school in Georgia, graduated 1973. Bullwinkle– ‏@BILLREEF @j_fuq That's a familiar name. Jack was QB while I was at LHS. You have to be a relative. Viking ' 73 watching Mike Horton and saw ur name ‏@BILLREEF
  18. Don't think it is... From his Twitter... Bullwinkle ‏@BILLREEF Did my grad work at GT and UCLA. Undergrad at USF, Profs at USF, finest in the world at their spec. Best place 4 me. 40 yrs ltr ,no regrets
  19. Could this be him? http://m.legacy.com/obituaries/tcpalm/obituary.aspx?n=william-flint&pid=172467264&referrer=0&preview=false
