Looked around to see how other NBE teams are doing with their schedules.  Conn, Cincy, Rutgers and WV still have to schedule that last game left open because of a 7-team conference schedule (excpet WV because of the UCF cancellation). UL has filled out their home schedule with the addition of FAU and Oregon State.  This is in addition to NC previously announced.  They don't have to return the Oregon State game until 2008 or 2009. Syracuse has signed Buffalo for a home game - not sure if a 1 for 1 or payday. Pittsburgh has signed on 1AA Youngstown State to fill their void. I'm thinking this is the real hold up to the BE schedule coming out.  Teams have been probably given a deadline to get their 2005 OOC in order with any dates they need to make it work.

So...how many new members signed on in the last couple days?

I doubt they would double the price for bball. $30 is more than most BE schools charge for football.

I remember the halftime show was New Kids on the Block - just terrible! I don't know if there was a PPK competition that year. Maybe JR was one of the kids that ran onto the field and pretended to be a New Kids fan?? Now I'm really curious.

Velcro is right. The point is we are too deep in with donors buying those seats as season tix to change them to student seats now. I always wonder who those donors are in that section - E1. They must be corporate seats or some special category like that because they have a good 60% no show rate compared to only about 20% no shows for the season tix on the other side.

Who steps up and has a career night to help Swift win this game? Jones - Does he get the WD40 off his hands and shoot like Prarie View and rebound like Michigan? Holmes - Can he focus and shoot like Stetson and USC? Prek - Can he take the open shots when they are there and get his shooting touch back? Dennis - Do we again see the future leader that played against TXA and ECU? Bryant - Will his confidence return tonight and he actually makes a few uncontested dunks and layups? Anyone else?

BTW, does the team fly commercial? If so, I hope they are not going through Atlanta to get to UAB. Atlanta is basically shutting down now and will probably not be in operation tomorrow. Hope they made it.

Any speculation as to what detrimental conduct is? Something happen at practice today?

Box score says 6,182. The first two levels hold 7,000 so I guess that sounds about right.

I am not an expert on BBall at all, but... Again, we had at least 7 open, simple, uncontested layups/dunks that did not go in. As I have said before, Marlyn is a totaly different player on offense since he missed the open dunk against UAB. It just looks to me like he has totally lost his confidence when he has the ball. What happened to the FT shooters that were there at the beginning of the season? Prek is being tentative with his shots. There were a couple times when he got a great pass, was wide open and chose to dribble into the defender instead of taking the open shot. Leather's head not in the game at all when he was on the floor.

Crowd and students looked great on TV. One question - why were the shirts handed out late? ESPN had numerous shots of people putting on the green t-shirts when they came back from the first time out - looked kind of strange.
