Yes he did and at the beginning of the second half CJL had his arm around DW for about 10 minutes like he was consoling a lost kid. (Whispers in his ear - "Don't worry Doug, the football team won't let you down!")
I'd agree with 1400 there. The box score will probably say 3,000. Many season tix holders and donors are not showing up for these non-marquee games. I would guess the lower level season tix sections were maybe 50% and the student sections about 75%. I think it's a real problem.
HP, that brings up a good question. Can any athlete use the facility anytime they want or does it have to be during ncaa sanctioned period for their sport's practice and season?
I agree with jedi - t - whatever that Julmiste is not the answer for happy valley. I fear things would break down quickly. Denson will be the starter with Grothe ready to take over. Watching the video of Hill showed me he can play any position he wants - we won't need him at QB if Denson and Grothe can get the job done.
No one has definitively answered basketbull's question. When do the freshmen first step foot on campus and can they begin using the athletic facility right away on their own? How did this turn into a coaching staff turnover thread?
And please have the TV games on Friday instead of Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. I know, I know high school football, but 1 Friday home game per season is better than another weekday IMO.
It is interesting reading the LSU boards. They know nothing about us - shows how far we still have to go in the PR department. People are talking about a "small school located in South Florida/Miami". Asking how his father can think that is a safer environment than Baton Rouge.
Oh, please...the LSU boards are calling his parents ignorant and other not so kind things. I don't think we have the audience or the power to "blow it".
But why wasn't he dealing with this a month ago like 99% of all the other recruits? His heart is with LSU, but his parents are for USF. I don't think we want a player that does not want to go here - sounds like a distraction to me.
WVU has signed 1AA Wofford to fill the void left by UCF.  Wofford was 8-3 last year and is in the Southern Conference. UConn, Cincy and Rutgers still working on it. What happened to the agreement with CUSA? Cincy does not have a CUSA team on its schedule. Shouldn't the 2 leagues have already set that game?
Our payday will probably keep their whole program afloat next year. They are in no position to back out or not play unless they cancel football for the entire season.
