  4. and the other team is scoring 20+, i think... yeah, thats a huge stat.
  5. Loved the comments about his running style and his attitude when he has the ball in his hands. Also, looks like the military school is going to pay dividends. Sounds like his mom is very involved in his life and both his parents want him to not make the same mistakes his dad did. Long reads, but good ones.
  6. I <3 I-formation. you can do SO much out of that set and we've never really had the personel to run it, alledgedly. No more excuses. And I'm just as excited about Kelly as I am Ford/Plancher.
  7. Interesting, and pretty amazing actually.
  8. As excited as I am, let's wait and see him play... That being said, if everything we've all read is true, our offense can be explosive...
  9. 3rd or 4th rounder? No way! He would be lucky to go at all.... I love my bulls but he has to put in much more work to get to a 3rd or 4th round... Hell if A Hall was not drafted, how can Amarri think he would be? Anyone else get the feeling that any underclassmen draft request that isnt a 1st or 2nd rounder is just given a generic "3rd or 4th round" prediction, no matter what their talent level is? Amarri Jackson will never play in the NFL. Mark it down. Yeah, you're the authority all right. Notice all the no name big receivers in the NFL tearing it up right now? Guys like Marquese Colston at New Orleans that played at Hofstra- 6-5 230lbs, Earnest Wilford, Matt Jones...you're 6-5 and can run you'll find a spot in the NFL. The difference being, all 3 that you mentioned a) will make the tough catch, will go over the middle, c) dont hold the ball like a loaf of bread, d) run north and south and e) were STARS at their schools.
  10. Stephen Nicholas is not Brian Urlacher. Come on man....seriously.
  11. yeah, i lobbed up a real softball, didnt i?
  12. Anyone seen them play? What should we expect on sunday?
  13. Good point. The enery level was crazy during the Wake game. It was fun to watch.
  14. Leavitt and Meyer are different people with different personalities. You cant expect anyone to act like another person if that's not how they are. Besides, as someone said earlier in this post, Meyer is arrogant and whiny.

  16. I'm SO sick and tired of praying to the football gods on 4th down.........
  17. How do visits go at USF? What kinds of things do the coaches show the recruits? Do they stay on campus? Do they go around town? I've always wondered how those in the athletic dept sell USF to it's recruits.
  18. With the past few games actually being televised(*lightbulb*) or being at home, we've all had an opportunity to evaluate our team a little bit. A couple things that have caught my very novice eye: - It seems like the Bulls have to work for each and every basket, scratching and clawing for every point. Meanwhile, the opposition is scoring fast break layups on every single turnover. Even when we force a turnover, it rarely turns into a 2 on 1 the other way. - What exactly IS Verdejo's role? - McHugh Mattis has incredible shot blocking instincts, but he is a TOTAL liability on the offensive end. He cant dribble, he cant shoot, he has hands of stone, panics with the basketball, and telegraphs his passes. - The entire offense should run around Gransberry. That guy is a MAN inside, and he's got moves! He should touch the ball EVERY time down the court. Worst case scenario, he gets the opposing team in foul trouble. - From what I heard on the radio, Howard is going to make a huge difference this year. Hopefully that opens up Bozeman to be a shooter. Running the point, looked like he was thinking too much. When he did shoot, hes smooth as hell. - Can Buckley create his own shot? If so, I havent seen it. Originally, the point of this wasnt to be negative.........but it sure turned out that way, wow. My bad.  Anyway, discuss.
  19. It's all about the building process. It's fascinating to me.
  20. Hell of a year by Mr Selvie. Honestly, he put up HUGE numbers pretty **** quietly. I was thinking the same thing. Our defensive line could be just as good very, VERY soon.
  21. Exactly my point if WE win and do it year in and year out the recruiting, media attention, and recruiting will take care of it's self. I dont want to be dependent on any other school especially the others in the state. let me know how you feel after work tomorrow....
