Great moments, yes. A knack for the dramatic, yes. But the best, I'm not so sure. A lot of his big plays were as a result of a bad decision on the play before. (See: running around behind the line of scrimmage, not throwing the ball away, and taking a 9 yard loss.)
He was the most popular, at the most popular time in the program's history, but he wasn't the best.
