UNLV looked like a loss to an average team.....until everyone realized they are good. Same can be said about UAB, which gave Florida all they could handle(tied with 1:05 to play), and eventually lost by 5. Am I wrong?

And for that, I blame USF. Ian is a prime example of the rest of the tampa sports fans. USF needs to market better. This game was a perfect opportunity to get the south tampa/downtown area excited about USF sports. From Gandy Blvd, the USF campus may as well be in Ocala. Shoop, I disagree a little with you on this specific game. (Overall, I agree though). This game also has been marketed by the Forum ALL season, every Lightning game on TV(which is all but 1 or 2) has done a promo for this doubleheader(and the womens vs. Vandy, uf-famu game). So in this specific case, it is Ian being an idiot. But again, overall I agree we need a little better marketing on that side of town. The Lightning, and the Forum, have done a great job keeping us aware.......USF, not so much.

I'd be surprised if it was. The field at the new University of Phoenix Stadium is real grass, it rolls in and out of the stadium. I doubt they would paint an entire side of the the field. We'll know in a few days. university of phoenix? you mean Arizona Cardinals. The Arizona Cardinals play in University of Phoenix Stadium. That's what it's called.

The thing I'm MOST happy about is that this win was done on espn2. Exposure, exposure, exposure. Not only did we all actually have an opportunity to watch our team, but casual viewers did as well. Plus, we may get on sportscenter now. HOW many times have we lost on national tv? Hell, have we ever won a nationally televised game?! And on top of that, the announcers knew a LOT about USF. Better information than I've heard from a nat'l announce team in awhile...especially considering the fact that Wake Forest was the marquee name in the game.

HILARIOUS, as I scrolled down I kept waiting....and waiting....and waiting to see your name, and when I finally do, THAT is all you got?! Way to go, miamifan. ;D
