    Somebody actually called in to talk about Grothe on the show. He said that we have the 2nd best QB in Florida to what Ian replied "That's because the rest are so bad." He then talked about the failed 2pt conversion and that was it. I say that instead of doing all these silly email "stampedes" to Bianchi, and other reporters we actually all grow some bolas (except for our female bulls of course) and call in these shows to talk USF football. A lot of you have some great insight and valid arguments and is a shame that nobody outside our little message board world can hear them.     Positive: Another great performance by the band Suggestion/Request: Please, do not start playing once a flag is thrown. I would like to hear the call on the field from time to time.

    It frustrates me that we here at the board can "come up" with these ideas but yet it doesn't occur to anybody at the marketing dept. to get everybody to wear the same color. How hard is to tell people as they buy their tickets "Enjoy the game, and please, if you can, wear green to the game!"

    We were never close to getting him. He knew he was going to UM the moment E.J. committed to them. He was just milking those free trips. But don't worry the days of the "U" getting the best recruits are now over, my contact at Immokalee H.S. tells me most of the kids want to be Gators now.

    Actually we lost them even before the game. I read somewhere that the prospect of being on the 2007 "Season's Greetings from Rutgers" billboard was the deciding factor. go figure.

    I hope you're joking .... Nope, but to the student's defense you could barely hear the chant 'cause not everybody was on board with it.

    Student section was packed, and very few of them left before the game was over. Hopefully this will put to rest the old "Ybor vs Night Football Games" theory.

    That's sort of an indirect compliment to USF as well. If RU would have beat UCF, or Rice by 2pts they wouldn't be saying they are a real top 25 program. Again, I rather think of us losing to a legit top 25 team, than to a mediocre and overrated team.

    And you just proved nothing. L'ville spends almost half as much as Syracuse yet they are the 2nd best team in the league. While USF's $5M can kick 'Cuse's $15M ass on the field.

    Is not about being old or a boring fan, hell, I've lost my voice on quiet a few games. But this chant just doesn't make sense. How is chanting "Overrated" cheering on the team? "Hey great game guys, but you only won because the other team was mediocre, if it was a legit #23 you wouldn't have stand a chance in hell in winning." wtf? Does that make sense to you? "Hey son, congratulations, I'm happy you got a 100% in that class, see? Is not that you are really smart but rather that your teacher's reputation was overrated."

    Please when we beat Rutgers tomorrow night, can we not chant "OVERRATED"! Chanting that implies that our team beat the #23 team in the nation only because they were overrated. We did it when we beat BG, and L'ville (#9) last year, and is just absurd. Not only does it belittles their team but our team as well.

    Beating RU, great for us bad for the Big East. They will completely drop out of the polls w/o netting us a single vote. We barely get any recognition beating a #9 imagine beating a #23.

    I think I was sitting almost next to you. I was sitting one over that Kansas chick, and in front of the "I'm loving it" guy. I had a great time over there, I even walked away with a shirt.

    He did say it. He actually went a step further by saying "I will not talk USF football until they win a National Championship, which will probably never happen."

    I was just going to ask what happened 'cause all I heard was the part that he said "if you want to talk USF football you can go to your little message boards..." What the heck is going on with this guy? He probably read all the negative comments on this board about him, and even then, freaking man up.

    Well I guess it all depends on where are you seating on the stadium in relation to the band. It seems everybody forgot about that little thread called "The HOT should be ashamed" UCF fans probably experienced the same bad acoustics some of you did during the FIU game. I bet the HOT played with the same enthusiasm and heart during the FIU game as they did during the UCF one.

    Yeah that heat was insane. Al I remember was looking up at the sky cheering a cloud on as it approached the sun. Anyways, I gotta take an Aloe Vera bath now, this hurts.
