    I used to be all about standing up until I saw this idiot at the bowl game getting in the face of a 80+ old man. The fragile old man was struggling to get up with his cane just to please that idiot.

    And I'm guessing the Manatee Alumni Assoc's #2 team is UF since they were cheering pretty loud for them during tailgate. :

    If we want change then we need to do what that board member did, and call in the Sheriiff's department and report any abuses that you witnessed. That is the only way. Call in even if you don't have any information on the officers; if they start receiving multiple calls about inicidents they might tone it down some.

    The "national expousure" for playing during the week is overrated. What do we gain? We've been playing weekday games for years and I don't see any difference. Great, I saw Marshall and UCF playing last night, it was fun but that's it. It doesn't make me care any more about their teams.

    R_ , like I stated earlier, I was sitting next to the band and they indeed play all the time and as loud as they could. What do you suggest they do? I don't see this as the band's fault at all.

    I was sitting right next to the band, and only once did the play while we where about to snap the ball, and the overlap was of only a couple of seconds. The rest of the time they stopped as soon as we lined up.

    Here, I just solved the band's uniform problem. This will cost you about $30 per member and you can buy new ones every year. It will go great with our "south florida" image plus it will keep you cool. Just get it in white, with the USF logo, and you are all good to go. No need to thank me.

    The Stanford band was part of the greatest College Football play in history. Without that band, we wouldn't be talking about "The Play" to this day. A college band is important for that college atmosphere.

    LOL. You remind me of those people that whenever they see an anti-smoking ad they proceed to smoke a whole pack just out of spite. I'm over it, vote away children, vote away.

    Yes, because it would sound so much better to hear him say why we are off the poll rather than hear "I have to place USF ahead of UM. They are just playing better, and until UM starts winning I have to say USF is the 3rd best team in Florida." But hey, who cares about publicity is not like we need it. Any more publicity and we will have to expand RayJ to accomodate the increasing number of fans. :

    The pass is geared towards FANS, is not meant to be a marketing tool to attract new ones. If you are looking on the web for CJL quotes, audio clips, and other Bulls' multimedia most likely you are a fan already. I don't see too many people just stumbling into the site.

    What's the point of ruining this poll? When I heard him on Friday morning he was contemplating taking our name out from the poll to fix the problem. Also he did the poll himself and he placed us #3 in Florida ahead of UM. I say just let it go. I like radio publicity and if next week he doesn't mention USF at all then what have we accomplished aside p* him off? No matter how much you hate him, being ranked ahead of UM for at least one week sounds great on the radio.

    Just so you know... they don't have a football team... therefore no marching band... ha Juilliard Football that will be the day I know, but I hear their intramural squad is nasty.

    And we have only gotten better which realy makes me scratch my head :-/ I think this can be a great artlice: "Missing: 19,000+ fans from the inagural game" In the article you can attempt to rationalize why those fans would abandon a team that has moved on to a better conference, to better opponents, and to better recruits. I just can't buy the "just win baby" cliche because there's gotta be more to the story than that. How do you see the birth of a program and later walk away from it. How can you show up for a Kentucky Wesleyan game but not for a game against highly ranked teams.

    Probably the inagural game. I wonder how did we lose about 19,000 fans since then. That's a lot of people that walked away after that first game.

    The same people that complain that nobody talks about USF, and those of us tire of listening to the latest lyrical masterpiece "Does your chain hang low?" on FM.
