    The Big East takes the $300k we are paid. They then pay us $1.1 million. That's the benefit of the Big East. The bowl could pay out more if they fixed their consessions alone.

    When we played Alabama we took 75 through Atlanta without problems. We returned via the 231 and it just never seemed to stop with the small town speed limit changes/traffic lights etc. Give me a good highway with everyone doing 80mph and no traffic lights anyday.

    Funny Robert Gates story. One of the faculty I work with was previously at A&M. The faculty senate was having a hard time with the budget when someone said "this is difficult", Gates was new at the time, having previously worked at his CIA post. Gates responded "This isnt hard, overthrowing a third world country, now that's hard!" I thought it was a pretty good line.

    And for the ECU fans talking crap: I see states called North Carolina and South Carolina. I do not see states named East or West Carolina nor do I see a state called just "Carolina" therefore I wonder where "East Carolina" is. I mean I realize you guys are on the eastern part of the state but not the state of "Carolina". Shouldn't your school be called "East North Carolina State" or "East North South Carolina" or East Carolinas State"?

    You guys suck... I cant find a good cuban here in Southeast Texas anywhere. I drove to a little hole in the wall place in San Antonio that was suppose to have "Cuban" food. It was latin cuisine for about $25 bucks a plate. My wife asked if I left becuase it was too expensive. Nope, I'd of paid $25 for a GOOD cuban sandwich they just didnt have any on the menu!

    Note the wording "In addition to..." 4. In addition to the champions of the six conferences that have annual automatic access, one other conference champion will earn an automatic BCS bid if (1) it finishes in the top 12 in the BCS standings or if (2) it is finishes in the top 16 in the BCS standings and its ranking is higher than that of a conference champion that has an annual automatic berth. Previously, such a champion was eligible if it finished in the top six.

    Actaully the Non-BCS Boise just gets "AN" autobid, they do not take one away from the ACC. The ACC still has their autobid. The rule is in place to reward the non BCS team that finished higher than the BCS conference auto qualifier. The rule isnt in place to punish the ACC.
