It's disgusting watching you morons celebrate every loss and come on here screaming about it literally ten minutes after the game ends. I feel really sorry for you if all you have going for you is cheering for this team to fail.

    14-4, 4-1 in the Big East, not too shabby. You have to figure if they get to 20 wins they'll be in the NCAAs for sure. This gives them an important "marquee win" for the selection committee.

    Geez, let's get there first before we start threads like this. Look how many times the men's and women's basketball team have been getting votes in the polls and then not made the rankings.

    I'm not going to set any expectations other than keeping the program moving forward. Everyone saying the goal should be to win the Big East, you're starting to take winning for granted, like USF is one of those "entitled" schools like Notre Dame or Alabama. It's HARD to win your league, no matter what league it is.

    That's about what I thought, 4-5 conference wins, hopefully one against someone that USF shouldn't beat, and maybe a low tourney seed.

    Sorry, the Big 10 and maybe the Pac-10 are better than the Big East.

    USF doesn't get hurt that badly because they do little out-of-state recruiting. The Gators can get whoever they want from wherever they want and USF isn't in their recruiting league. However, this is a disaster for FSU and Miami. They picked a terrible year to go in the tank.

    I think the Big East just wrapped up that Bowl Challenge Cup. The worst they can do is 4-1, while the WAC and MWC each went 3-1 and all the other conferences have at least two losses. C-USA 0-4, bwahahahaha.

    Not to mention the Big East scheduled three more for us in Louisville, West Virginia, and Rutgers.

    You don't realize how close the Big XII came to being 0-8. 1. Last-second FG for Oklahoma State over a 6-6 Alabama team with no coach 2. Texas wasn't ready to play and beat a 6-6 Iowa team by two points 3. Texas Tech had to rally from 38-7 down to beat a 6-6 Minnesota team, who then fired their coach Meanwhile, A&M got drilled by 35 and Kansas State lost by 27. And of course Oklahoma lost to Boise.

    Still not as bad as Desmond Howard breaking down the Holiday Bowl between Texas A&M and California by talking about what Texas had to do to win the game.

    I was at the Bucs game yesterday and you could tell they didn't repaint the Bucs flag logo at midfield. It looked pretty faded so that it would be easier to paint over today.

    FIU already plays at Dolphins Stadium. I don't think that field could handle two college teams, the Marlins, and the Dolphins playing on it. By the way, I said no since I don't live in Florida. Auburn, absolutely.

    Does that mean the payout is bigger than $1.1 million each? The Orange Bowl pays out $17 million to each school if I'm not mistaken. FYI - I believe Notre Dame keeps their entire bowl payout.

    They ran an ad during the Lightning game last night saying tickets were half price ($30 lower-level seats for $15). Don't know if that's still available, but call the SPTF box office at 813-301-6600 and find out.

    It's sad that most Dark Siders (flsportsfan83, I'm talking to you) seem to want to be proven right more than they want what's best for the program.

    You know who might stun all of us and become a rival? Rutgers. I hear the team and staff absolutely HATES the Scarlet Kaniggits, and personally I really hate Schiano - I will believe until the day he retires that he is a carpetbagger. I'm not ashamed to admit that of all the games on our conference schedule, I most wanted to win the RU game.

    Point of order: Greenie was not fired. He was hired away by another school. As such, any discussion of Greenie vs. Mac is null and void because that choice was never available. The choice at the time was either Mac or someone else that wasn't hired. You want to debate the merits of Mac, go ahead. I probably agree with you. But you can't make the comparison you're trying to make.
