    Jose has a GIANT asterisk next to those records for the first couple of years, since half the team was suing the school. Some smart athletic director gave him enough time to turn the thing around and now it might be the best sport on campus. Why are your panties in such a bunch about volleyball? Did one of them dump you or something?

    This is phenomenal. The top eight teams still have games left against another team in the top eight: #1 Michigan vs. #2 Ohio State #3 USC vs. #5 Notre Dame #4 Florida vs. #7 Arkansas (SEC championship) #6 Rutgers vs. #8 West Virginia

    It is the year after they went 4-22. Twisting off about the volleyball team is so incredibly random that I bet the only reason you posted it is to complain about something. It can't be because you have a deep understanding of the sport. By the way, the losses to Louisville and Cincinnati were on the road.

    You're just plain dumb. USF only won four matches total last year. This year they went 12-15 and 7-7 in the Big East. And they could still get into the tournament where only 8 of 16 teams get in. The program bottomed out last year but is getting better quickly.

    To be honest, FSU could get someone better than Leavitt. My dream scenario is FSU and Miami getting into a bidding war for Schiano.

    The game turned the minute Colt McCoy got hurt. They can't win that game by simply running the ball.

    That guy is a carpetbagger. Just look at how happy he is to talk to the media. And they have like 340 seniors on the Rutgers roster. Miami will come up to him with sacks of money, and he will take them because his market value at RU will never be higher.

    Well, first they need to win tomorrow. But if they do, they better not go in there all wheels off and start stomping on the Cardinal again. Teams that do that get their doors blown off.

    The difference is that Petrino has been an OC and Schiano has been a DC. Looking through CJL's bio, he has zero special teams coaching experience. It's an area he's decided to take on that should be given to someone with more experience in it.

    Didn't the perception of the Big East as a sissy conference drive some of those bowl affiliations? That's not true as everyone can see. By the way, TCU is a 100% lock to go to the Fort Worth Bowl because it's in their stadium. So that throws the whole scenario off right there.

    Robert Marve, Robert Marve, Robert Marve. He's Plant's QB and he's already committed to Alabama. But **** he's good. He'll probably tear Robinson a new one like he has almost everyone else this season. If and when Plant wins Friday night, they'll be 10-0 for the season. In my four years there (1993-97), they won 12 games.

    Sounds like a Terrell Owens-George Teague kind of thing. (That was back when TO played for the 49ers, he scored a touchdown in Dallas and ran to the star at midfield, and then Teague came running up and blasted him.) That's bad, but it's still different than deciding to start a free-for-all pretty much at random.

    Another example of a "real" college stadium atmosphere: Kansas had ZERO stadium parking. You had to park along a street or in someone's parking lot. I paid $10 to park behind a laundromat and walk to the stadium, and I was only that close because I got there three hours before kickoff. But you could feel the buzz all over the place. The frat and sorority houses pulled their TVs out into the front yard to watch games and drink beers out of inflatable pools. And EVERYONE was wearing blue. That would be awesome to see on the USF campus.
