  1. Yes that’s why we are averaging close to 40 points a game in conference. What we lack are better players to run it. Our offense isn’t the big issue here
  2. Completely agree. The team did not look good yesterday and was certainly outclassed. I expect our coaches to ádrese that. Missed tackles and bad angles can be addressed. Other issues can’t be diminished but will need to be addressed in offseason. Lack of breakaway speed at RB, WRs that can consistently get open and catch the ball, corners that can cover WRs. We aren’t as good as we thought after the two wins and aren’t as bad as we looked yesterday. Now let’s see how coaches and players react to that.
  3. UAB announced attendance was 23792, somebody should inform the Times. and Miami announced 58,000+ at theirs
  4. No doubt. This team is better than past three years but it’s not as good as most fans thought after those two wins. Im hoping for 20k in seats and announced 33k. Reality is that many that have tickets will watch on tv instead.
  5. Funny to read the mood of this board after a win and a loss. We win 2 in a row and people are talking about winning AAC Lose a game and coaches suck and should be fired. Here is a reminder we are a program with 1 FBS win in 3 years and 4-21 in that period and were dead last on defense last year. We are now 3-3 This team still lacks talent and that was shown yesterday, UAB had faster and better WRs and RBs than we did, And defensively we still to get better up front and in coverage. Good news we are recruiting well, if we can get those kids signed and get help from portal we will be fine. At the beginning of season, I thought 4-8 would be our record or 6-6 if things bounced our way.
  6. Ok, everyone needs to take a deep breath nothing has happened yet. 1. Facts are that USF won’t get in ACC as long as FSU is there. 2. The Big12 took ucf and is at 16 members if they add schools ACC ones will be looked at before USF 3. The SEC has 16 members, the BigTen has 18, really doubt any of them goes over 20. So that means at most 6 ACC schools get raided. And honestly other than FSU, Clemson, UNC and maybe Virginia as both SEC and BigTen would like a member in that state. I don’t see any other that those two would want and increase or match their payout. 4. The ACC has 17 schools not counting ND. Even if 6 left for SEC/BigTen, that would leave 11. Even if Big12 took 4 so all three would have 20 that still leaves 7 ACC schools. 5. So it really looks that if the ACC would be raided by those three, they would still have 7-9 schools and would probably add schools like USF, Navy, Tulane, Memphis, Air Force, Colorado St, SDSU. To get to 16 is that better than Big12, maybe not, but it’s better than what we have now. Example: East Syracuse, Boston College,Wake Forest, Duke, UConn, Navy,USF, Georgia Tech West Tulane, Memphis,SMU,Air Force,Colorado St,SDSU,Stanford,Cal
  7. Specially since that’s the side on every tv screen
  8. Exactly which is why you don’t waste that on opening game. That game will be a sell out regardless of opponent, everyone would want to be there.
  9. Game1 will be sold out regardless of opponent,so pick a patsy. if we are opening in 2026 that means FIU on Sept 1
  10. Problem is that if we are building a stadium that we might be expanding in future, a fixed dome roof wouldn’t work. I’m fine with starting with an overhanging roof over the sideline seatings
  11. Beatrice is that Texas hooker coming this Saturday
  12. Give credit to coach. She has been improving the team every year and while still not there yet, they are now 7-5, four wins in a row and should finish with a winning record.
  13. Thanks. I wish Joyner went back to RB. He is not being used enough.
  14. Interesting. Was Joyner listed at RB position in past depth charts? Or was he just move back for this one? JeyQuan listed as back up receiver to Atkins, is this also new?
  15. I will never give up on my Bulls!! But with that said, this is a HUGE game for Bulls football. Win this one and season outlook changes, the next two @Navy and @UAB are also winnable, meaning the Bulls could have a non losing record come HomeComing.
  16. I hope for 30-32k for the Rice game. We need to keep momentum going. But another 4 pm game could bring rain delays and being on tv it may keep some away.
  17. With the WRs struggles in first three games, I wonder why we haven’t seen Seth Jones Jaden Alexis or some of the freshmen like JeyQuan Smith a speedster for slot. Keshawn Singleton, Javon Thomas, Tyree Kelly all bigger receivers
  18. Here is the problem I see. In Golesh system you run the ball and throw deep. We lack the WRs to get open deep and OLine to give QB enough time. So #1 Does he stick with his offense and as he says keep building for future. or #2 Does he adjust his offense to deal with current talent. I believe Taggart also faced that question early on.
  19. I love eating rice. white rice and black beans. Yumm rice and fried eggs yumm arroz con pollo yummy Congris with bacon bits Yummier. Hope the Bulls eat lots of rice next Saturday. Get after their QB as they did last Saturday
  20. Rice is a critical game. They are 2-1 losing to Texas and beating Houston and Texas Southern. They have a decent QB in Daniel’s from Georgia. If we can win that one the next two @ Navy and @ UAB are all winnable if our defense plays as they did yesterday.
  21. I think you hit it right on the nail. Golesh game plan is run the ball and throw deep to stretch defense. Problem is we don’t have the OLine to give that time nor the WRs to go deep and catch them. I think K. Brown did it once but not consistently. Even in shorter routes our WRs struggle to get open and catch the ball. This will be a struggle going on when we can’t run the ball. The good part is no one left in our schedule has that Bama defense we faced yesterday.
  22. We should be able to sell out the new stadium and create a demand for tickets. It will be interesting to see if the new stadium will have one open grassy end zone area that could accommodate extra students to game.
