    Sadly what is in his favor is that he has a winning record, even though we dropped the last 5 games, and he has taken us to two straight bowl games. If he wins the bowl game, his job will be secure. There are plenty of schools, including schools with long histories and bigger fan bases, that will kill to be 7-5 and go bowling. It sucks to drop 5 straight, but the overall picture could be worse. That is what is in Strong's favor.

    That "Ambition over Tradition" was very dismissive of alumni and flat out insulting. They were going for the hip and new crowd, and they lost sight of that the old guard are the ones with the money, not some Gen Z hipster with their face buried in their smartphones.

    Well he made a violation pass right after I posted that. He has run better than Barnett who has feet of stone. It has only been 10+ minutes of play. He has driven us to two scores and we are in the lead. WTF else do you want? I hear UCF is taking applications for band wagon fans. We have been doing that all season.

    You got to give Oladokun some props. He is moving the ball with either his feet or some decent passes.

    I say that was a sweet pass and he threaded the needle to his receiver. Now if the special teams would stop being so "special" and properly block so we can get a GD extra point.

    Lets see. Charlie has only lost 2 games but is not blowing out teams. A win is a win is a win. Just ask the 72 Dolphins. They were undefeated (the only undefeated NFL team so far), and they had some ugly wins in that stretch. I guess some people would want Leavitt back and we can be happy with 3-4 conference records and seasons with 8 wins at most.

    I am in favor of the execution of the defensive and offensive play calling.

    So you would rather have moral victories instead of real victories? Charlie Strong is going nowhere. First of all, a large chunk of his salary is coming from Texas, so we are benefitting from that school giving him a fat contract and then firing him. Attendance (real butts in seats) and season ticket sales are up since CCS took over. Why? Because he is winning.

    Alabama could be 1-6 and the pollsters would still rank them #1. "They played a tough schedule in the SEC" would be their excuse. The whole system is rigged.

    The computers just run a formula created by humans. However, they apply that formula with zero bias. No extra points for popular schools, no extra points for ones alma mater, no favoritism. I you held the human voters to a specific standard, they would produce results similar to the computer polls. I could give to rats turds about some voter's "feelings". Rank each team on the same standards each week. Until that happens you will get voters bending over backwards to slob on Nick Saban's knob and find a way to put Alamaba in the 4 game playoffs because the most popular team has to be in the playoffs.

    It is only short by one day. I really doubt that will impact the team. It is not as if we are playing on Wednesday or Thursday.

    Why is UCF ranked so high? They only have one win against a P5 school. It has to be a carryover from last year's ranking.
