  1. Do we? I hear we are raising funds for an IPF/football only facility, but we also keep studying OCS. How much success are we having with this goal with objectives? How long this goal been in place? 6 or 7 years doesn't sound bad for a $1 Billion dollar goal
  2. So you mean they set a specific fundraising goal with specific objectives and were able to reach it?
  3. That's an idiotic statement. The AAC was a distant 6th best conferences last year and every year.
  4. On campus they make you sit next to Ned if they catch you with a cigarette on your person, in your car, etc ....
  5. Let's not forget Troy, Arkansas State, Memphis, Appalachian State, and SD State. We were more highly thought of than Duke and Army though
  6. Got a king's ransom for the guy. Apparently Meadow was the key. Pirates didn't want to part with him, but Rays insisted. Glasnow has a world of potential if he can put it all together. Overall the Rays did well at the trade deadline. Just sucks that it feels like we just traded for the next crop of guys to trade away at the deadline in 2-3 years ....
  7. It was rhetorical. Everyone knows that all you do is complain here
  8. Has anyone mentioned that ucf blows yet? Don't waste your time. He isn't interested in what you actually said.
  9. Maybe we can attract a few more trolls from other schools, Elon maybe?
  10. Then can the program. If there isn't enough "support" to justify a 35K stadium with room to grow when necessary, then stop dumping $2 million+ annually into a rental
  11. Yes. There is a group of alumni on message boards for college teams with an OCS around the country that agree to cover all shortfalls ......
  12. There will be enough revenue to cover the debt. They aren't going to finance $240 million
  13. Easy. Hire Nick Saban right after they hire Geno Auriemma
  14. Reading the article that New England posted in the thread that will not end, most conferences TV agreements are ending around 2023 and there may be a major landscape change. We could wait to see how that pans out to make a decision on the direction we go with our stadium
  15. There will be no OCS before 2023, but there can be a plan and a goal and working getting the funds raised. I believe their current lease with RJS ends in 2023. There's nothing wrong with a 35-40K stadium that can be expanded when it becomes neccessary
  16. Less than half of a 65K seat stadium. We were over 30K per game for a minor league schedule. Not that shabby
  17. Then stop running studies, say we're not building an OCS, and move on. And don't complain about the lack of support
  18. There has always been people that wanted an OCS. Some just feel it adds to the experience I guess
  19. Yep, it's been on the back burner I'm sure because RJS was there
  20. They are, but it isn't a 65,000 seat NFL stadium. The stadium will be built primarily for UAB.
  21. Makes sense. We are not going to sell bonds to cover the whole thing. There is a way for it to work. Stop talking about, stop studying it, and either do it or don't
