    The bookstore also had a bogo 50% T-shirt sale two weeks ago which was nice. The waiting for things to arrive was killing me though.

    True at that point in the season we could still hardly move the ball and forget about scoring points. It seemed like the lanes opened up after Sanchez was tossed. (Full disclosure I haven't rewatched the game, so my memory could be faulty.)

    That stupid call on Sanchez changed the game. Having Harris, Sanchez, and D. Thomas should definitely help this year. I hope Christmas comes early and the coaches bring the surprises.

    Food shopping without a publix is kind of sad. I hate Safeway more than words can describe. I'd go to Trader Joes over Wegman's any day. Wegman's was alright, but I prefer publix. The grocery store situation is pretty bad here in California. Nob Hill/Raley's whatever leaves a lot to be desired. You can't even request products, subpar in store foods, bakery is a joke, no bogos, it's basically an Albertsons. I can't wait for Publix to dominate the Northeast and finally start moving west. I hope they make it to California.

    I really hope we play tight coverage on their receivers and bump them at the line. Not 5 or 10 yard cushions like last game. We need to make this young qb adjust on every down and keep their offense out of sync.

    I think we will try it, but it won't be something we come out of the gate with. CWT isn't going to change the plays he runs for anyone (supposedly). I think we will work to establish a couple of things first, and the first sweep like play or two maybe a fake to test the defense.

    Some fans are looking for let down and I don't think we are that kind of team. Jimbo's maturity comments lead me to believe that that lose may beat them twice. I don't think their young team is ready for a real battle and regardless of we their coaches say in practice.

    Jimbo cited lack of maturity for them being "shell shocked" and he tried to walk back his panicked comment yesterday. I think if you move fast these young guys won't Have their assignments completely down. It may not be as effective as last week, but I'm sure it will still allow us to create some advantageous matchups. Also, I think they are killing Cook's NFL chances and that really sucks.

    So many people have cut the cord already. Cable companies are focusing more on being Internet providers. I think some may try to split up and start offering digital packages. Most provide on demand and other features. It will lower their overhead in a big way and what company doesn't want to save money?

    Not sure that the streaming angle will matter at this point. I agree for the next round of contract negotiations, but since we are still in a traditional framework I think TV markets will matter to the networks.

    Markets matter. Looking out if they add USF and don't want an island do they take Tulane as a bridge over Valencia State College? I don't think anyone would. If I put down my Horace Grant style green and gold glasses I can clearly see that adding both Florida schools will give the best bang for your buck.

    They do have talent but they're young. They have constantly turned over a lot of their leadership the last couple of seasons and it shows. The defense is out of position a lot and it takes time to develop the tools needed to succeed at this level. Also their run game doesn't look as good this year. If they play young Frenchy dial up the pressure and allow the defensive players to introduce themselves. The kid has been beaten up a lot this far this season.
