See the last 2 seasons where our offense has been ranked 100+ in just about every category and the only bright spot has been Mack but Mack can't run the ball every play So the cupboard is full because we have one running back out of the 11 positions needed on offense? I'm not following. I'm not saying the cupboard is full but it's better than what Taggart inherited.

    If we win 2-3 games it will be because Taggart can't coach the talent not because Taggart couldn't recruit talent here. We have better players now so if we have a new coach next season he won't be able to use an empty cupboard as an excuse

    If Woulard gets the waiver, Flowers or Bench would start and Woulard would maybe take over toward the end of the season (3-4 games left). We might see woulard in some action early if we are either up big or down by a lot just to get some minutes in.

    Do you have a source for this? Never heard it before. Hard to believe the coaches are truly in the dark given the constant academic support and advising provided by athletics departments. I used to work as a manager for the basketball team and the coaches were not told about academics until the end of the semester. They were not allowed to talk to any professors about academics and could only send managers and non instructional coaches to make sure the athletes were at class. They might have changed it but that was how they handled it when I was there

    Taggart can only make sure they show up for class and study halls. He isn't allowed to know about grades until the end of the semester and usually gets a list of players that are in trouble after the semester so academic issues can not be blamed on Taggart

    Hopefully they run a no huddle offense so we can work the defense and not let them substitute often

    He can practice as much as he wants which would include the scout team but he won't get first team reps unless his waiver is granted

    If the big 12 wants markets they'd be best to go with a Usf/ucf package deal.

    Taggart will either gets us to a bowl game this year which I'm very hopeful he will or we will be bringing in a new coach. Now the good news for a new coach is he will be handed a way more talented team than the one Taggart was handed but if we have to bring in a new coach we can't bring anymore cusa or sun belt coaches and it must be someone with proven success at a p5 school whether that was as an oc/dc, assistant, or head coach.

    Here's an interesting dilemma. According to this article 5 big 12 schools were heading to the big 10 in 2010.     Mack would hurt tremendously but losing flowers or bench would devastate the QB depth and pretty much guarantee kean is at worst the #2 QB on the chart. Now betweenbech and Flowers, Flowers would hurt more

    He recently was denied admission into Wisconsin and announced he is open to any D1 school so should we at least talk to him. He had offers from Alabama and other major schools but I say at least talk to him and gauge his interest level

    Does anyone know if UCLA used the spread because if they didn't it would be way better to let Woulard sit this year otherwise see what he can do and prepare for next season otherwise see what he can do, as far as Kean does I'd say redshirt him and let him have 4 full season instead of only 3 to run the offense.

    They should be announcing the men's within the next few weeks. They might be waiting on the conference schedule to be released so they can release the entire schedule.

    this guy is too toxic for anyone let alone us. He might be able to play in about 2 years but it will not be here

    I'm just hopin he plays like Winston but doesn't cause problems off the field like Winston did

    This can only help with chemistry as the guys will have extra practice time and getting game experience for the freshman should make the transition easier come October/November
