Who here is a Rays fan?  I've been becoming one since a trip to Sarasota earlier this month to see my aging dad.  He watches the Rays every day, so I sat with him and probably watched 7 games or so before returning to the desert southwest.  Of course I am a long time Pirates fan, but have slid the Rays into my second place.  The Diamondbacks finish third.

Rays are young, and play aggressive baseball.  Fun to watch.

I've never been good at having more than one "favorite" team, even in MLB when it's not uncommon to have an American and a National favorite.

Anyway, liked the way they played and wouldn't mind hearing some Rays talk on this Tampa board.  Watching them beat the Rangers right now, 3-0 but gotta jump over to the Pirates/Rockies for the start.

Rays have definitely become my AL team since moving to Tampa. They took a step back with the loss of Maddon and Friedman, but I like what I've seen this year.

Yeah...I saw a little bit last night.  Dual purpose watching.  I wanted to see my AL team, the Rays, beat the Brewers so that the Pirates could gain ground.

Sitting here with the Rays and the Pirates each at 4.5 GB.  At least the Rays are in contention for wild card, too.

Actually, that "maddening" was a positive one as it came after they took 3 of 4 from the best team in the AL following crapping the bed against the Aaron Judges ...

Another one is due today after doing that to the Astros, not scoring a freaking run in 2 complete games against the Brewers ...................... maddening.
