Surprised he didn't get drafted but also surprised his Pro Day 40 time was only a  4.57

 

Any predictions were what team ends up signing him ?

Still nothing. Even Welch is in a rookie tryout camp. Either he had the worst interview in history or at least half a dozen teams brought him in as a smoke screen.

If he really ran a 4.57, maybe he's hurt.  I'm not sure how fast he is, but that's LB speed...not WR/CB/KR fast (typically).

 

I always thought he was more of a pick up game type of baller.  Athletic, but still raw at 22-23.  Maybe the unimpressive speed and interviews gave the NFL teams pause.

 

I'd love to see him catch on, as he's a Palm Beach county guy and...a Bull.

Maybe it has do to with his domestic violence incident. I'm not sure that he was ever charged though. Teams seem to overlook these issues if they are a 1-2 round guy, but maybe not for an undrafted free agent...
