Q: What did you learn from Calipari?

A: You need really good players to win.

Everybody laughed raucously.

 

Missed the early part of the discussion, but it seems like he established a great rapport with the DJ's, they closed with lots of laughter and ribbing, and said some very positive things about next year.

consistent with other reports about him, that he's very disarming.

When asked if this past year was a bad year, he said it was a very good learning year.  Had many injuries and so the team didn't get to gel very well.  Talked a lot about the upcoming season and the recruits he's bringing in.

 

He was very positive and upbeat about turning this thing around sooner rather than later...
