Yes, I think these guys will be back:  Morrillo, Zeigler, Guerrero, Cousins, Holston.

My case for Cousins is this:  he is a big body and is fine with getting only 4-10 minutes a game.  Sometimes that's all you need or want out of your backup big man.  Plus he is a big body to practice against.  One more thing....he came here because of Coach O's connection to his brother.  Don't want to burn that bridge.  Coach O probably also promised his mom that he would do everything to help him get his degree.

Holston has been a disappointment shooting, but he has shown some spunk out there with some hustle at times.

Agree with the other posters that passing has been bad.  However, some kids just are not good at that aspect.  Like ball handling....you either have it or you don't.  Yes, passing is coachable but only to an extent.  I don't even think AC is a good passer.  Yes, he gets assists and make some good passes but then there are others where he is so late with the ball to shooters.  Or the ball is not put on their chest so they have little effort to get a good shot up.

The passing was simply lethargic yesterday. I don't know any way to put it. We didn't get out-coached by that Memphis team, we were out-hustled. They chased after everything, and I didn't see any offensive adjustment out of our USF squad yesterday. Guerrero and Allen Jr. showed up to play. Ziegler and Holston got a lot of put back baskets, but we're still far from being a consistent perimeter shooting team. Memphis seemingly shot it from the corner all game long. It was a frustrating game to sit through.

I hope Coach is just starting to implement his hardcore conditioning now and it's beginning to show in the increased pace the last few games. This offseason, once he gets his guys as the vast majority of the team, he should get them all onboard wit extreme conditioning. We need to out hustle, outclaw, out heart our opponents next season and that all starts with this offseason.

I remember coming into this season Perry said they had a rigorous conditioning regimen which is why he lost weight coming into this season. Guerrero gained bulk and it's helping him in the post. I'm sure they will be in for some real running this summer.

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”
