Jim was the lifeblood of USF football. He was totally devoted to the team. Passionate and aggressive, he set the tone for the kids to follow. Could he have taken us to the next level, we will never know as he is no longer here, but you can never doubt his love for the progam and school. LeRoy was more than an AD and fundraiser. He was a stable and conscientious presence for the athletics department and USF overall. No one was more loved (and missed) than LeRoy. As said above, he always gave his full attention to all who met and spoke with him. I have a lot of special memories of this great man. Both losses were bad. You cannot compare Apples and Oranges. However, if you talk about the program as it stands today, I would have to say the loss of Leavitt is more compelling. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
