Let's not compare UM vs USF on academics. If an education from either is the highlight of your resume, you're in trouble.

This is completely incorrect. Miami is the 47th best university in the nation. USF is in the low 100s. Very easy to compare. USF is very, very poor both academically and athletically. Abysmal institution.

Over 2,000 colleges and you say we are abysmal at low 100s? You must have flunked statistics moron...assuming you even went to college.

 

 

There are only about 200 ranked schools, so yes, USF is an abysmal school by all standards.

 

I'm sure you've never even stepped foot on campus. If you did, I'm sure you would be working or doing something productive with your life instead of trolling sports message boards.

Enjoy your 0-12 season and being tied with West Virginia University academically. Hopefully you realize soon that your 15 minutes of fame about 7 years ago was a fluke and there never was a Big 4.

Bad coach from an objective standpoint. The question to whether or not Willie Taggart will make USF's football program respectable was answered after the very first game of his tenure. At this point you're in denial over what is coming: routine 4-6 win seasons. That is Taggart's ceiling. No light at the end of your tunnel, especially considering the inclusion of a playoff and the formation of superconferences. USF is done.

That's not really a well thought-out response or intelligent. It just makes you feel better about the situation your team is in although I'm not convinced you know football well enough to discuss it. USF's best days are behind them, even though they never have accomplished anything to speak of. Willie Taggart is Randy Shannon with more personality and somehow even less football knowledge. At least Shannon was a decent coordinator at one point. 

 

You have to be questioning the competence of the USF admins right now for giving this guy a 5 year contract rather than 3. Or even for firing Holtz. Success at USF means going 6-6 or 7-5 and making a bowl game every now and then. Very confident Taggart will not meet those expectations and I'm wondering why USF fans are not greatly concerned that their team got blown out by McNeese State. Your mediocre talent alone should have won you that game. UCF will obliterate USF this year.

Very true. Many dirty hits on Miami players. The intentional helmet-to-helmet on Duke Johnson (which somehow went unflagged -- USF's sleazy program likely paid off the refs), for example.

 

It mostly comes down to USF's mediocre athletes holding a grudge against better Florida schools for not recruiting them.
