That will be the pattern for today and Wednesday. The entire team will come together beginning Thursday, the first practice with pads. “We really want to work the freshmen and teach them how we do things around here,’’ USF coach Willie Taggart said. “Once they get to the older guys, they understand what we’re doing. “Here, the coaches can concentrate on just them. When you bring them all together, sometimes the freshmen get slighted. We can’t afford to slight those guys.
