7-3 Bulls as next Uconn batter hits one off of Borders ... skitters to left side wall.

We play pretty well for a crummy baseball team with a lousy coach :roflmao:

I'll gladly eat crow for right now.  It's been ugly to watch, but wins are wins.

Not sure what was said or done after that Georgetown trip, but it sure as hell has made this team a gritty team (minus that weekend in New Jersey).

I just think it's taken the best part of the season for them to figure out who they were as a team Jimmy has really progressed as a Frosh and I think this team has finally figured out that they can score runs without hitting the long ball. I think the NJ weekend was just exhaustion. Our long road trips take a toll. The change in climate is taxing too. I am pretty sure that taxes our FB team as well. We've got em all in the sweat box this weekend though. We'll see how ND likes Saturday's weather. It's FL weather West coast style.

The only team that might not be at a disadvantage is Rutgers. They've been down here since May 15, so they've acclimated by now.

Also, we've played our games both after the sun had gone down. Saturday and Sunday our games will be in the middle of the afternoon, so the heat and sun will really become a factor.

Crap.  Ramsey lets a routine single get by him in center, UConn is squarely back in this game.  7-5 Bulls now.  Time to get Gonzalez out, imo.  They're teeing off on him like we did Uconn's starter.
