I split it with a friend. This year he does not want to renew his ticket, but I do, it's too much for me. Have any of you split your tickets with others from this board, if so what are the pros and cons? Is it legal?I'd hate to lose my tickets. Let me know what you think! You're not pulling a fast one. Basically - the question is - under whose name is the season ticket donation? If it is in your name, you are responsible for coughing up the donation, by whatever means necessary, to the university, assuming you still wish to retain the same seats. If your pal has the donation under his name, that's a different story...you'd have to work on that with the Bulls Club (as to seat retention). You'll have to - assuming your homie doesn't want to play this year - either write the check on your own, or find another donor willing to split the cost of donation & ticket purchase. As for trolling the board for an accomplice....caveat emptor, sport. Are you really looking to partner for $1K or just looking for tickets (e.g. you're looking to buy tickets ala Velcro & E.T.) ? If you split the donation you will still only be getting one tax receipt from USF and it would wrong if you took the full deduction on your taxes

That only refers to the price of the actual ticket. You cannot exceed more that I believe like $5 more than the ticket price or it is illegal. Don't forget as E.T. always mentions you can pay your contributions quarterly I believe. Maybe that will help a little?

Then you can get a student ticket for much cheaper.
