well that wasn't the only mistake tonight! I don't care what we do w/ Skip Holtz, Doug Woolard needs to be fired tomorrow.

I don't have any issue with that really and he has overseen some quality improvements to facilities, but his decision making has been atrocious And not just in Football head coach or giving multiple year contract to worst defensive coordinator in D-1 history. Our athletic department looks like it is ran like a high school booster club. Often I get e-mails delivered days or even a week after an event that is being advertised (because it seems we can't figure out this how e-mail thing). The example above, not having the on-campus store open well before fans started to arrive.

I don't judge an athletic director on the performance of a single program or a single year. But the self imposed mistakes and inability to more largely promote USF with partners in the Tampa area is a tremendous disappointment Our athletic department badly needs new leadership (far worse than football).

If we won it would have been brilliant.

NO

Even if we won, giving your arch rival the opportunity to beat you in the first game of your new home should NEVER be considered.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
