That's when it needs to be packed the most.

Not Florida, not Miami, not Clemson, NO ONE. It was truly impressive. It seemed like the entire upper portion of the entire endzone was filled with USF fans. Florida brings a ton but nothing like that. The only other fan base to even come relatively close was OU last year and even then it wasn't really that close. Truly a special day for Football, even if FSU lost. Now tomorrow (or today depending on when this is read), we may create a Bowl Game atmosphere with as much fans as we are bringing. Should be another special day for football. To be perfectly honest, our large presence there had a lot to do with FSU fans not buying tickets. I'm betting if those other schools had the same availability of tickets a we had, they would have sold that many also. Don't get me wrong, I was more than pleasantly surprised at the turnout we had up there but I think it was a perfect storm sort of situation ... We are not that good of a traveling fan base. if it were simply FSU fans not buying tickets, u would have seen green scattered throughout the stadium, not filled up behind one endzone. we came out for that one. it wasn't a fluke. If green was scattered throughout the stadium, that would have been FSU fans not using their tickets. I doubt that FSU holds back all those seats we filled, endzone and side, for visiting teams. If I recall correctly, they kept releasing more tickets to us as the game got closer. I can almost guarantee they don't do that for their big games like the ones you mentioned. And I agree completely that we came out for that one, but it was a fluke. If it wasn't, we wouldn't have the piss poor showing in Miami 2 years ago.
