Lots of calls and a few letters from several schools coming in. The summer camps were great for exposure. http://www.maxpreps.com/athletes/H0PCK_rozkCcHyKnAdb9ig/football-fall-11/profile-marc-jimenez.htm

Perhaps, he could get one of those guides that USF gives to signees instructing them on what to do with weight training prior to coming to USF. It might be a good thing to have. Does he plan on competing in weightlifting, wrestling or track while in HS? Any of those things are good to build up his resume and get him more fit to play football in division 1. The has turned from being aittle mushy to a big solid ass kid. Solid even at around the 270ish he is at. This is only his 3rd yr playing football. We were always to big to play in the leagues around tampa not he will be starting at a 10th grader.

Even if he doesn't compete in weightlifting, he should still follow a recommended regiment, so as to be doing it properly without having adverse effects. It takes time to build up to where he needs to be. He can't rush it.
