Re-classified 6-foot 6 junior, Jamel Artis, says MD, Pitt, LaSalle, Xavier & USF are the schools in touch with him the most.

It sure is a lot of talent in the state of Florida these days...a lot of talent.

Huh? If Maryland, Pitt, and X are recruiting him, he must be pretty good...

Evaluating is different then saying he has been offered by those schools. I haven't seen anywhere that says Artis is a good player yet.

There are tens of thousands of high school junior and senior basketball players in the US. I don't think it would be going out on a huge limb to say that you have to be somewhat good to even get mentioned in recruiting stories ...

:rolleyes: .... "Ruined" would be in the eye of the beholder. Some would consider the very first reply here, someone whining about Maryland players, to have "ruined" a thread about someone USF is looking at ...
