Looks like they held one more practice at Corbett Stadium this morning before they head down to Guatemala for their game on Tuesday.

I can't get over how cool it is that they practiced here all week. Think about going into a recruits house and say "We have a great stadium. In fact the US National team has used it multiple times as their training site when they come to Tampa."

I wasn't impressed with their performance at all. They played horribly bad, but a win is a win.

I disagree. While they weren't at their best, the only glaring weekness that I saw was on the back line. First 2 selections at left back were out. When Torres playing left back while actually a midfielder, went down with an injury, Bocanegra had to move out left forcing onyewu in. Onyewu passed his prime a couple of years ago. Not sharp yes, Donavan should've pulled the trigger himself, but horribly is a bit harsh. JMO

I think they played awful. Antigua is absolute garbage. I was expecting 5 goals minimum. Now we are heading on the road to Guatemala which is a very hostile environment.

I don't like Altidore on the bench. Herc is playing really well but both of those guys should be on the field... Honestly i'd move to a 442 formation with Herc and Jozy up top, diamond mid-field with Duece at CAM, Bradley on the left, donovan on the right, jones covering the back line.

Not calling in Eric Lichaj was a huge mistake.

I just don't think that given the healthy players they have is able to blow many teams out. If they get Fabian Johnson back, then they should run through this phase quit easily. I agree that it was a mistake to not call up Lichaj, and the we need to be more aggressive. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Match stats linked.

after watching the Euro cup that morning I could not resolve myself to go the distance for that game, bad performance by the USA team
