MAJOR CANADY HAS FOUR SCHOOLS STANDING OUT IN RECRUITMENT

It's a long article so I'll just list some of the things that were said and the link afterwards will be for those that want to read the whole thing.

Major Canady, a powerful and quick point guard measuring 6-foot-3 and 210 pounds, from Kiski Prep near Pittsburgh (originally from North Carolina) has had a very good start to the AAU circuit playing with the Ohio Basketball Club.

Canady, who counts being a creator on offense and a disruptor on defense as his best traits as a point guard, is beginning to develop a leading group in his recruitment.

South Florida, Stanford, Virginia Tech and Tennessee are my favorites,†he said. “I have built great relationships with one or more of the coaches on their staffs and I feel they are genuinely interested in recruiting me. Also, I have always wanted to live in Florida for college so USF also has that going for them.â€

“My family and I are heavily leaning towards making our decision in August after the July live period,†he said. “The most important factor will be who I feel will provide the best environment for me while attending the school, and also who will best prepare me for life after basketball.â€

Very nice pickup and an under the radar guy that has a lot of potential in college. Stan has always loved this kind of PG and he's a high character kid as well.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
