Anyway, now we know how BE hoops powers feel when nobody nobodies beat USF on the hardcourt.

USF actually had the most impressive regular season OOC win against Notre Dame... only other win that came close was L'ville beating a soft Kentucky squad. at least they're SEC. we don't lose to FIU or Marshall. i could be mistaken but i don't think USF has lost to a non-AQ school since joining the Big East. anyways, re: SDSU... u can expect pretty much all the new members, save for Boise and maybe Houston, to fill the bottom half of the conference for the first few years of membership until AQ recruiting starts to pick up and that talent develops. SMU, SDSU and UCF will likely have some unimpressive years playing Cinci, Ville, Rutgers, UConn every week... and i wouldn't expect Boise or Houston to finish their first few seasons with fewer than 2 losses either. it's one thing to beat an AQ team or two every year, it's another to do it week in and week out as the bulk of the schedule. a lesson we've learned in our 7 seasons as an AQ program. don't be surprised to see UCF, SMU, SDSU having a few 1-8, 2-7, 3-6 in-conference records first few years out the gate.
