Student jobs- in the AD

Does anybody on here know how I would go about applying for some type of job within the Athletic Department. I'm not looking for anything in particular, I just want to get my foot in the door and would be willing to work any hours as long as it does not conflict with my classes.

intern/volunteer?  probably filled by the semester

What I would recommend is do what I did... go to every game and cheer your ass off!  That's how I got my job:)

Seriously, best recommendation would be to join the Student Bulls Club, and be an active member.  You'll be helping the program, and it's a great way to get noticed if a career in sports is something you're thinking about.  Those are the students who would get first crack at something like work study or internships.

The sports info department is always looking for peopel to work gameday for men's and women's basketball and football. Since it is the end of the season for basketball, it's tough right now.

Since we are moving to the Big East, all of our game day opperations are going to be getting a huge overhaul. We will need extra people to run stats, man the media room and do all that kind of stuff. If you leave me your e-mail address i will be sure to let you know what comes up.
