Those two losses vs the Rays were the best thing that could have happened.

Team needs more talent.  Edwin was a scapegoat.

Good fit for the Marlins. Probably the only place in MLB where a manager that age gets a job. Maybe he will have the same success as JoePa

Jack is being brought back to do one thing, babysit the club and afford them a cheap option while they evaluate the team to decide where to go next.  Smart move by the Marlins, get a guy who had success there before and one that both parties know isn't for long term so no hard feelings when they hire the next guy.

hanley showed up late for his first team meeting and he sat him. 

traditionally a good move, but when you are a temp you dont want to piss off your superstar.  Even though he is batting like a guy who should be in the minors.
