From Syracuse Post-Standard

Syracuse hopes to release its 2005 schedule next month. The school has non-conference contracts for home games against Virginia and Buffalo. The Big East Conference schedule is being held up because of litigation involving the exit of Boston College to the Atlantic Coast Conference.

What is the ongoing litigation with BC and how can the outcome affect completing the BE football schedule?

What a joke, I need the schedule to come out so I can plan some trips and events around the schedule. Only can plan on bye weeks

Among those scheduled to attend Thursday's basketball showdown with Cincinnati will be Tom Odjakjian, a Big East associate commissioner. He's in charge of setting up the 2005 conference football schedule, which is due out next month.
