How recent was Hill's comments about saying he wants to come here.  He said that just after this weekend right?  I don't know about this stuff but is a coach's words about what a player will do more accurate than what the player says himself.  

I guess we can just hope for the best.

Senior year:

Passing - 61% completion, 2788 yards, 33 TDs

Rushing - 1124 yards, 18 TDs

Career:

Passing - 58% completion, 5866 yards, 64 TDs

Rushing - 6.5 yard per carry, 2768 yards, 43 TDs

Hill stats against 1A competition:

Senior year:

Passing - 54% completion, 1764 yards, 20 TDs

Rushing - 8.2 yards per carry, 1191 yards, 12 TDs

That's why I'm saying Hill would be icing.  I'd love to have him, but if he goes elswhere, I won't be too distraught over it.

Are Miami's current QB's supposed to be better, or more "highly regarded" than Grothe?  If they are, he'd be wise to stick with USF.

I'm sure it would be more a feather in his hat if HIS QB signed with Miami rather than USF. Who knows if he even talked to Carlton since he visited. I would have thought that the writer, Omar Kelly, would have spoken to Hill himself. Perhaps Omar and the Coach didn't read Hill's comments to Brett Murphy in the Trib.

I just posted the article, but it's difficult to know how much it is worth.

That's correct.  But, you have to remember, Grothe had 4A talent around him, also.
