Very interesting development.  Is this another Les Miles gaffe?

I am a bit of a Les defender....so just to be clear, what do you mean by gaffe?

Thanks

No you don't. But I'll take the Les Miles results any day. At LSU:

62-17 record at LSU

6 Bowl appearances

5-1 in Bowl games...and the loss was by 2 points

2 SEC division championships

1National championship

I have a brother in Baton Rouge.  His local civic feforts are legendary. He is open to fan contact. He is loved.....especially after taking over the program post Saban, who left the program absolutely spinning with his departure.

Unconventional yes...a winner ......yes. Throw smears, he is very good at what he does.

You're right, you can't argue with the record and accomplishments, but he is the poster child for aloof and spaced-out coaches.  I think he's got some good assistants under him, and LSU has won in spite of Miles' serious errors in coaching but I'm curious to see how it will play out with Krags.  That joker ran all of Bobby Petrino's hard work at Louisville into the ground.

LSU's success despite Miles makes me almost want to believe Les DID indeed sell his soul to the devil in exchange for success, like Pat Forde thought.  :P
