All depends on how it is sold.  With FSU, you didn't really know when the last year was so it was a complete disaster as players didn't know who to side with or believe.  With WVU, it could go two ways depending on how the players see Stewart.  This could be a "Win this one for Stewart" type thing if they really love him and hate to see him go or it could be a complete and utter disaster if those two aren't on the same page 100% as players will pick sides.

USF will be in the top 15-20 by the 5th week of the season. 2 things have to happen.

1. Beat a ranked ND (they'll be in the 15-20 range I think)

2. Win the next 3 "cupcakes"

Bam, accomplish all of that and USF will be in the top 15-20.

By beating a mid ranked ND in SouthBend, USF will attract votes and end up in the 25-30 range after week 1. A good showing the next week against a Ball State team that has gone back to being Ball State should boost USF into the 23-25 range. Beating FAMU by 3 or more TD's will bolster USF to the 21-23 range. Beating UTEP by at least 13 points will put USF into the 18-20 range. Within all of that scenario, someone in the 15 range is bound to crash and burn, giving more spots up for USF. If USF can get into the 15-18 range, then as long as they don't commit 2 losses in a row, then theyll remain in the top 25 all season (where they belong).

It's all a dream right now, but it could easily put USF back into the rankings mix.

WV will be a Big East whipping boy next season... they are in major rebuilding mode. They should had listed one fo the Big East teams that showed promise this season.

Louisville

USF

Syracuse

Any poll that lists UConn and WV as top 25 material is either a homer poll or knows nothing about Big East football.

Didn't the cuse limp into their bowl game with a bunch of Ls ?

Higher ND is in the preseason, better it is for us.
