Well, one thing Sunshine has accomplished is to show us that we need our students closer to the court in larger numbers like other in state programs do ... and before K_L prances in here, here's the link to the UCF seating chart showing their lower level student sections: http://grfx.cstv.com/photos/schools/ucf/sports/m-baskbl/auto_pdf/m-baskbl-seating-chart-07.pdf

Put them in P1 and H1 (expanded during renovation) and charge $8 a game like FSU does.

If 5 thousand students would show up to the B-Ball games, we would have a rock'n environment.

They don't get it...

Totally unrealistic!! How many schools average 5,000 students for hoops?

Syracuse, Georgetown, UConn, Florida, FSU, etc.

Where do you get your poop from?

Student Seating

Students are allotted 2,500 seats for University of Florida men’s basketball games. The first 1,000 students to arrive receive a wristband to sit in the lower level, sections C1 and D1. Students can also sit in sections A2, A3, B3, C3, D3, and E3.

I get that poop from my mildly retarded cousins who are regrettably Gayturd alum... apparently when the student section is full, and there are no more free tickets, the students do something that USF's students don't do which is buy regular game tickets. They have a student ticket lottery because demand is so high according to my r-tard cousins. Thus their student body packs the O Dome regardless if they get in free or not.

Also just last night I was watching the Georgetown vs Pitt game while at the gym and the announcer mentioned briefly that it was a packed, sold out, house... they mentioned that only about 4,000 Georgetown students could get tickets. Their student section is not 4,000, it might be 1,000...

Everywhere else at other major athletic universities the student body is rabid... here its luke warm. With 6,000 students on campus, and cheap $8 tickets in some sections, we should have a lot more then 100-200 rabid Bulls students in the Sun Dome.

Where do you pull your numbers from?

Verizon Center seats 20,600 for B'Ball.

ESPN... I still don't see where your figures prove mine wrong?

Georgetown sells out regularly and students, 4,000 of them, paid to go to the game... when was the last time the Sun Dome sold out for a USF Basketball game and when was the last time 4,000 students packed the Sun Dome.

My guess, since these figures will be impossible to locate, would be back in the 1980's.

My point is that we have 6,000 students on campus / 40,000 over all, and only 100-200 show up for BBall games... other major athetic universities don't have this issue despite having fewer students on campus / overall.

What is your point  ???

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
