Precisely why we should chill out on adding any of the non AQ conference teams in the immediate future.  There could be far more attractive options that could be available in the next year or two.  UCF, Memphis, etc aren't going anywhere, they should be viewed as the BE's "safety schools" if you will.  Also if any other conference comes calling, no matter who we add the current BE teams would more than likely bolt.  We have added the best non AQ option available and should see how things shake out in the big 12 as there is still a ton of uncertainty over there.  Lets not forget we almost scooped up some great schools when it appeared the Horns were bolting.

Why wait until Texas does something?  Surely someone has someone on the phone working this out.  If we add those three schools and get raided, while it would suck, wouldn't be apocalyptic.  Adding Nova, UCF, and whoever else and getting raided could be highly detrimental, especially if this BCS nonsense continues.

I just think we continue to talk to those schools out there and keep in a position to nab them if the big falls apart and if they want to come before then even better.  If we get raided and need a immediate fill UCF, Houston, Memphis etc will be there and take it in a heart beat, it's not like their going anywhere but the BE anytime soon.  I just don''t see the big rush to add any of the non AQ schools immediately when we got the only one who has any legitimacy in football.

The only one? Maybe it is just a dry year, bit in years past..there have been several.....in  a competitive sense...just look to Skips last several years....

You nailed it. Wait it out, Big East retains AQ right now, if something doesnt come up with those programs, a school like UCF will onlylook better after another season in CUSA. Both Big 12 north and Big East would win
