After reading what seemed like a new article every day on him when the team was in Vero and over the summer it seems as though he has not lived up to the hype that surrounded him. I did not expect him to have a breakout season( although some people did) but i did expect him to have more than 2 receptions for 34 yards. I wonder what the deal is with his production.

Having to compete with super seniors like Gidrey and Ketchel has probably not helped. Plus Shields is pretty good too. Hopefully he can break out next year when he starts getting more reps.

Only so many passes to go around and TE's don't get tons of chances in most college offenses anyway.  I'd like to see the TEs used more as it seems like they are always open when we look their way...

I thought he was switch to WR? He's coming in playing in the slot. For him not getting enough catches. He's playing with a QB thats not seeing the field and throwing the ball well. Bogans and Landi should have better numbers also. Next year everyone should better numbers.

I think that we'll be seeing the TE's used more iof Eveld starts tomorrow night. Not a knock on BJ, Bj's 5'11"-6'0" at best. The seem route can't be easy to see behind the O-line. Eveld's 6'5".
